UP Health Minister pays surprise visit at Beli Hospital, expresses displeasure over unhygienic conditions
Allahabad: In a surprise inspection conducted at the government-run Tej Bahadur Sapru Beli hospital on Monday, Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak pointed out several unhygienic areas of the hospital and ordered action against the agency responsible for the cleanliness work.
Expressing disapproval at the unhygienic spaces, the minister who also holds the portfolio of health minister, asked the hospital authorities to put on hold the one-day payment of the agency responsible for sanitation and cleanliness work of the hospital campus.

Further, he inspected the wards at the trauma centre and checked up on the patients admitted there. He also inspected the blood bank and other departments of the hospital.
He directed the hospital authorities to begin a special cleanliness campaign at the hospital and asked them to remove hanging wires and broken floor tiles, reports the TOI.
