NEET SS 2020 not postponed: Beware of fraudulent Notice, warns NBE
New Delhi: Responding to various claims doing rounds in Social media that NEET SS 2020 has once again been postponed, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has issued a statement saying it is fraudulent notice circulating in its name by some unscrupulous elements.
Concerned with the said spoofed information tampering the interest of candidates who are aspiring to pursue higher education, the NBE has notified the candidates that it has been observed that a false and fake notice is being circulated in social media regarding postponement of NEET SS 2020, by some unscrupulous elements.
On this, it is reiterated that NEET SS 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 15th September 2020. (Refer NBE notice dated 4th July 2020)
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Speciality courses (NEET SS 2020) is the entrance exam, the gateway to DM and MCh courses in the country for this academic year.
The NEET SS is conducted by NBE as per the schedule of admissions notified in Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations (PGMER), 2000. NEET-SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016.
