Pay Annual DNB Course Fee Directly To NBE: Natboard Tells NEET PG candidates

New Delhi : Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has informed about the payment of First-year course fee at the time of joining Diploma/ DNB seat at NBEMS Accredited Hospital. 

The counseling for admission to Diploma and DNB Courses of NBEMS for admission session 2021 is being conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Govt. of India along with the counseling for MD/MS/PG Diploma seats.

It is hereby clarified that NEET-PG 2021 qualified candidates who are allotted diploma or DNB seats at NBEMS accredited hospitals are required to pay the First year course fee directly to National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

All the NBEMS Accredited Hospitals and candidates opting for Diploma/ DNB seats at NBEMS Accredited Hospital through NEET-PG 2021 counseling are hereby advised to take note of the following details.

The First year course fee is not to be paid by the candidate to the Accredited hospital of NBEMS, allotted through counseling. NBEMS shall be collecting the fee from the candidate and thereafter transfer the same to the concerned NBEMS accredited hospital after completion of all rounds of counseling.

The amount of First year course fee payable directly to NBEMS by the candidates joining a NBEMS seat is as follows:

The entire First year course fee is to be paid by the candidate as a single transaction. The First year course fee shall be paid by the candidates through online mode only using NBEMS Fee Portal. The web-link for the said NBEMS online Fee Portal shall be indicated in the seat allotment letter issued by MCC.

The receipt of online payment shall be generated after successful transaction for First year course fee. Candidates reporting to NBEMS accredited hospitals for joining Diploma/ DNB seats shall be required to produce the receipt of online payment of First year course fee to the hospital concerned.

The NBEMS accredited hospitals are required to confirm the joining of candidates for Diploma/ DNB seats to MCC within the stipulated time as prescribed by MCC only after production of the above mentioned First year course fee by the candidate.

Fee paid through any mode other than the above mentioned NBEMS online Fee Portal shall not be considered by the hospital to allow joining of the candidate.

Fees submitted by the candidates once to NBEMS, need not be paid again in case the candidate decides to upgrade to another NBEMS seat in subsequent rounds of counseling.

The candidates who have changed their NBEMS seat to MD/MS/PG Diploma in subsequent rounds of counseling shall be entitled for refund of their First year course fee deposited to NBEMS only after they submit the proof of their joining of MD/MS/PG Diploma seat to NBEMS.

A candidate who resigns or leave the allotted Diploma/ DNB seat at NBEMS accredited hospital and also fails to join another MD/MS/PG Diploma seat at a Medical college will forfeit his/her First year course fee submitted to NBEMS.
