Unlicensed medical shop busted in Hyderabad, drugs seized

Telangana: Drugs Control Administration, Telangana conducted a raid on a medical shop located at Zamistanpur, Musheerabad, which was operating illegally without a drug license and seized drugs that were stocked for sale.
Acting on credible information regarding the illegal sale of medicines, the authority raided New Al-Shifa Medical and General Stores located at D.No.: 1-7-500/14, Near Bandham Function Hall, Zamistanpur, Musheerabad, Hyderabad, on 10 th June, 2025.
Mohd Saddam Hussain was running a medical shop at the said premises illegally, without a drug licence. During the raid, DCA officers detected unauthorized stocking of a huge quantity of medicines for sale. A total of 35 varieties of medicines, including antibiotics, abortion kits, habit forming drugs viz. Alprazolam Tablets, Tramadol Tablets, IV fluids etc., were found stocked for sale at the premises and the stock, worth Rs. 25,000, was seized during the raid.
