New Delhi: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the examination schedule for the KCET 2026 pharmacy entrance test, affecting candidates seeking admission to pharmacy courses in colleges across Karnataka.

As per the revised timetable, the KCET 2026 pharmacy entrance examination will now be conducted on May 25 and May 26, 2026. Earlier, the pharmacy exam was scheduled to be held on April 23 and April 24, 2026, but the dates were postponed to provide candidates additional time for registration and preparation.

KEA has also clarified that the language paper, which is mandatory for certain candidates applying for professional courses including pharmacy, was earlier scheduled for April 22, 2026. However, a new date for the language test has not yet been announced, and candidates have been advised to await further updates.

According to the revised schedule, admit cards for the pharmacy entrance exam will be released on May 1, 2026, while the KCET 2026 pharmacy results are expected to be declared on June 30, 2026. The examination will be conducted in two sessions each day, with the morning shift from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.

KCET serves as the primary entrance examination for admission to BPharm, DPharm, and other pharmacy-related undergraduate programmes offered by government and private institutions in Karnataka, subject to eligibility conditions prescribed by the authority.

According to a recent media report in The Indian Express, the revision of the pharmacy examination dates aims to facilitate smoother conduct of the entrance test and ensure adequate time for candidates to complete the application process.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official KEA website for updates regarding the language paper and further pharmacy admission-related announcements.
