Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially revised the total number of vacancies under the Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 notification, increasing the count to 564 posts.
This revision provides an expanded opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure pharmacist positions in the state healthcare system.
The recruitment process is being conducted to fill pharmacist posts across various government healthcare institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, including the required educational qualifications in pharmacy and other conditions specified by the commission, are eligible to apply for these positions.
As per the official schedule, the application process concludes today, and candidates must ensure that they complete both registration and submission within the stipulated deadline. The commission has not indicated any possibility of extending the last date, making it essential for interested applicants to act promptly.
Applicants are required to complete the online application procedure carefully by entering accurate personal, academic, and professional details. They must also upload all necessary documents, such as educational certificates, identification proof, and any other required credentials, in the prescribed format. Any incorrect information or incomplete submission may result in rejection during the verification stage.
In addition, candidates are expected to verify their eligibility thoroughly before applying, as applications that do not meet the specified criteria may be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process. It is also advisable for applicants to keep a copy of the submitted application form and payment confirmation for future reference.
The selection process will be carried out in accordance with UPSSSC recruitment rules and may include merit-based evaluation, written examination, or other assessment methods as determined by the commission. Final selection will depend on the candidate’s performance and fulfillment of all eligibility requirements.
Times of India reports that the increase in the number of vacancies reflects the commission’s intent to strengthen healthcare services by recruiting a larger pool of qualified pharmacists and addressing workforce requirements across the state.
Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions provided in the official notification and ensure error-free submission of their applications, as no further corrections or opportunities may be provided after the closure of the application window.
