AIIMS Patna: 400 nurses go on strike demanding permanent job, equal pay, COVID facilities

Patna - Nearly 400 nurses of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, a dedicated COVID-19 hospital, have gone on strike from Thursday in support of their demands.
The striking employees demonstrated before the main entrance gate of the hospital.
They have been working on contract since the AIIMS started functioning in the state capital and demanded permanent job in AIIMS and medical facilities for illnesses, including COVID-19, at par with the permanent employees of the hospital.
The employees also demanded equal pay for equal work and leave facilities as allowed to permanent employees.
