Physiotherapy Student Linked to Rohtak MBBS Exam Scam, Allegedly Made Rs 86 Lakh
Rohtak- The name of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy student has surfaced in connection with the MBBS exam scam that came to light at Pandit BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR). The MBBS scam allegedly involved getting pass marks for MBBS students through fraudulent means in exchange for money.
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy student is accused of making over Rs 86 lakh by manipulating exam award lists to help MBBS students of a private college pass. The alleged involvement of a student from another course indicates that the scam is not just limited to the MBBS exam but could potentially extend to other exams as well.
This was revealed by one of the three main accused during police interrogation. The accused revealed that a deal was struck with the students for Rs 2 lakh per candidate to get three candidates of the 2021 batch passed through the "direct system". With this, all three passed the exam. On this, the accused claimed that "I gave him Rs 4.05 lakh and kept Rs 1.95 lakh with me."
