Rohtak University MBBS Exam Scam: 2 Employees Admit Receiving Rs 4 Lakh during interrogation
Rohtak- In a breakthrough in the MBBS exam scam investigation at Pandit BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (UHSR), two Class IV outsourced women employees have admitted during police interrogation that they had received a total of over Rs 4 lakh through digital means on behalf of the main accused.
DSP Dalip Singh, who is investigating the case, has confirmed this after both the employees confessed this during interrogation. However, during the investigation, the police also found several transactions between these two fourth-class employees and the MBBS students. Moreover, the names of both employees were also mentioned by an MBBS student, who lodged a written complaint with the UHSR authorities regarding the scam in January.
According to a Tribune report, sources said that during police interrogation, one of the female employees revealed that the accused had asked her to help him receive digital payments, saying he was unable to receive the money due to some technical problem. She was asked to use the PhonePe app on her phone to receive the amount and return it later. She agreed to his request and received Rs 2 lakh digitally.
