Important Instructions to Candidates — Medical / Dental - Second Round

The following types of seats are made available for second round seat allotment.

1. Unfilled seats of First Round, if any.

2. Choice 3 seats of First Round.

3. Choice 4 seats of First Round.

4. Exercised Choice 1 in First Round but failed to make payment or not joined the college.

5. Exercised Choice 2 in First Round but failed to make payment.

6. Medical / Dental seats of Choice-2 candidates, later who have exercised Choice-1 for Engineering / Farm Science courses during Engineering First Round.

7. Cancelled / Surrendered seats, if any.

8. Candidates allotted seats in First Round but failed to exercise their Choice within the last date, if any.

9. Newly added seats if any.

10. Consequential Vacancies.

Types of candidates allowed for Second Round.

1. Choice 2 candidates of First Round who have made the payment.

2. Choice 3 candidates of First Round.

3. Not allotted any seat in First Round.

The following types of candidates are NOT eligible to participate in the Second Round.

a. Choice-1 candidates of Medical / Dental first round.

b. Choice-1 candidates of Engineering / Architecture / Farm Science / Pharmacy / Naturopathy & Yoga seats of first round.

c. Choice-4 candidates of Medical / Dental first round.

d. Candidates who have not exercised any Choice even after allotment of Medical / Dental seats in the First Round.

e. Candidates who have exercised Choice 1 or 2 in first round of Medical / Dental courses but failed to make the payment for the seat confirmed by them.

f. Candidates who have exercised Choice 1 after seat allotment in first round of Medical / Dental courses but failed to collect the Admission Order.

g. Candidates who have surrendered / cancelled their medical / dental allotted seats after medical / dental first round.

h. Candidates who have joined the college after allotment of seats in the first round or second round of All India Counseling including Counseling for Deemed Universities etc are not eligible for state second round and also not eligible for mop-up round.

As per DME letter, Second Round seat allotment for admission to Medical and Dental Courses will be conducted as per the following schedule. Candidates can priortise their options from 07-12-2020 to 10-12-2020. Eligibility to participate in the second round is already detailed in the UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin and hosted on KEA Website. Display of seat matrix (un-allotted, Cancelled, Forfeited, Choice-3, Choice-4 seats and newly permitted, if any)

07-12-2020 after 2.00 pm

Display of Seat matrix All India Quota reverted seats, if any.

09-12-2020 after 4.00 pm

Option entry - rearrangement of options by already verified candidates only

07-12-2020 from 4:30 pm to

10-12-2020 up to 4.00 p.m.

Publication of Second Round seat allotment Result

11-12-2020 after 4.00 pm

Post allotment procedure:

Implication:

1. There will be no Choice to exercise to the candidates.

2. Candidates who gets allotted / confirmed a seat in any discipline (Medical or Dental) are required to pay the prescribed fees (if not paid) and should compulsorily report to the colleges on or before the last date mentioned in the admission order and should update the details through their log-In-Id to KEA or they lose their allotted seats.

3. If any candidate fails to report to the college after allotment of seats in the Second Round, legal action will be initiated against such candidate in accordance with law.

Downloading of Admission Order and Reporting to the allotted college

  • Payment of fees, if not paid (fee paid by first round Choice 2 candidates if any will be adjusted in this round)

*Deposition of documents:

1.Candidates, who have been allotted Government seats in Private Medical or Dental colleges and Private seat in Private Medical or Dental colleges should deposit all the original documents at KEA, Bangalore with one set of attested photocopies as per their eligibility. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 and Annexure -9 (Rural Service Bond) given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.)

2. Candidates, who have been allotted seats in Government Medical or Government Dental Colleges should submit all the original documents with one set of attested photocopies as per their eligibility at the time of admission at the respective colleges. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 and Annexure -9 (Rural Service Bond) given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.) (ESIC Bond hosted on KEA Website).

3. Candidates who have been allotted NRI / Others seats in private Medical or Dental Colleges should submit all the original documents as per their eligibility with one set of attested photocopies at the time of admission at the respective colleges. (Verification Acknowledgement slip, Annexure-1 given in UGNEET-2020 Information Bulletin should also be submitted.)

During Deposition of documents, candidates should compulsorily wear mask and carry hand sanitizer with them. Only the candidates are allowed inside the KEA premises for deposition of original documents. Candidates and parents should maintain social distance and should follow the SOP notified by the Health Department / Government.
