Puducherry CM advises Govt Medical College, JIPMER to increase COVID sample testings

Puducherry - Chief Minister V Narayanasamy on Thursday said that he had advised the authorities of Government Medical College and Jipmer--- the two COVID-19 hospitals--- to increase the number of sample testings.

In an audio clip sent to media, he said the Jipmer and Medical College were not conduting sample testings to their maximum capacity and hence an advise was given during his visit to the Medical College earlier in the day.

The Health staff aired their grievances and they were informed that the government is taking steps to appoint more doctors, nurses and ASHA workers.
