Patiala Hospital bags Certification of Nursing Excellence from NABH
Patiala: Amar Hospital has been honoured with the Certificate of Excellence in standards of nursing from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). NABH is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India.
An "Aim for Safety" workshop was organized by Amar Hospital administration. It gave healthcare professionals training in the newest methods and technologies for dealing with emergencies, reports The Tribune.
Commenting on the workshop, the hospital authorities stated, "With an aim to enhance safety for patients and healthcare workers, a one-day skill training workshop was conducted on the hospital premises. This workshop was held in collaboration with B D India. The hospital's healthcare providers received training and learned skills to handle emergency situations with perfection and ease."
The CEO of Amar Hospital, Dr Amarjot Bahia, informed The Daily, “We are proud to receive the certificate. We strive to provide the best possible care to all of our patients.”

The board while being supported by all stakeholders including industry, consumers, and government, have full functional autonomy in its operation.
