Telangana: It comes as welcome news that on-site work to create the required infrastructure for the proposed government medical colleges in Ramagundam and Kothagudem in the State's coal belt region, has progressed and finally picked up speed.
The departments concerned have stepped up and are making active efforts to develop facilities for the future medical colleges.
The State government has already submitted applications to the apex medical regulator seeking its approval for setting up new government medical colleges in the following 8 places - Jagtial, Mancherial, Mahabubabad, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Sangareddy, Kothagudem and Ramagundam.
