New Delhi- The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the date for online filling of information relating to admission made in Medical Colleges/Postgraduate Institutes through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 for the Academic Year 2024-25.
As per the notice issued in this regard, the Medical Colleges/Institutions were earlier requested to submit requisite information related to admissions made through NEET PG-2024 in the NMC’s admission monitoring portal by 31 March 2025. However, now the board has decided with the approval of competent authority to extend the timeline for submission of admission details to 07 April 2025 considering the technical difficulties faced by some of the Colleges/Institutions in NMC's portal.
The Medical Colleges are required to ensure that all admissions to the PG courses are strictly in accordance with merit and are made in a transparent and fair manner as envisaged in the Regulations. Any violation shall lead to the discharge of the concerned student (s) from the courses and such. action against the concerned Medical College/Institution as is permissible in law.
Therefore, all Medical Colleges/Institutions are called upon to submit the requisite information through an online system that can be accessed through the NMC official website. It is required to submit the details of all the Students admitted through NEET PG-2024.
Meanwhile, the already existing login ID is to be used for logging in. Through this unique login ID, all the Medical Colleges/Institutions must submit the admission details of postgraduate students within the stipulated time, beyond which the Colleges/Institutions will not be allowed to enter the details of the students into the Student Admission Online Monitoring System for the current academic year, 2024-25.
The onus for this rests with the respective Colleges/Institutions, and no excuse will be accepted for failure to do so within the stipulated time. The Colleges/Institutes need not send hard copies of the data of admission in PG Courses. Data uploaded through the Student Admission Entry portal shall be the only data used for the purpose of monitoring students' admission to PG courses. The onus for furnishing true, correct and authentic information rests with the College concerned, and in case of furnishing of any wrong/incorrect information, it shall be open to NMC to initiate action as is permissible in law.
If the login ID is not functional for some reason, or if the Medical College/Institutions are finding it difficult to log in, an email should be sent with the subject heading "Difficulty in logging in." The following guidelines shall be followed by the Colleges/Institutions-
i Please visit the NMC website home page and refer to the "COLLEGE LOGIN" section.
ii A login screen will be displayed.
iii Use the login credentials. Remember that the Password and the Unique ID are case sensitive. The provision is there to change the password by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link. Passwords should be kept confidential.
In addition, the following details may be captured in the entry screen for Postgraduate students-

The details of the students who have taken admission to the PG medical courses as per the data filled in by the Colleges are placed on the NMC's website. However, the names of those students whose details are not filled in by the Colleges/ Institutes within the last date of submission of data on NMC's portal will not be displayed on the NMC's website. Hence, the onus of furnishing the data on time will lie with the Colleges/ Institutes.
