All NMC permission, recognition letters, appeal orders to have digital signatures
Amidst the ongoing NEET and NEET PG counselling, some unscrupulous elements are issuing and circulating fabricated information in the name of the National Medical Commission (NMC). Concerned with the same hindering the interests of the students and medical institutions, the NMC has now decided to issue its Letters of Permission (LoP) and Continuation of Recognition (CoR), as well as the appeal orders with the digital signatures of the Member/ President of the concerned Board.

First NMC public grievance hearing held today
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the date for its first public grievance hearing, which was scheduled to be held on Thursday i.e. September 07, 2023.
NMC, the Apex Medical Body, took this decision as it pointed out that September 07, 2023, has been declared a holiday for all Central Government Offices.

Doctors raise concerns about bad living conditions in Manipur relief camps
As thousands of Meiteis and Kukis are in relief camps in violence-torn Manipur, a group of doctors that visited the state has expressed concerns about the issue of poor living conditions in relief camps, poor health conditions of Inmates.
A team of doctors from Indian Doctors For Peace and Development visited a relief camp each in the Meitei and Kuki areas.
The team included Dr Arun Mitra, Dr Shakeel, Dr Ravindranath and Dr Rajani, who were in Manipur from September 1 to 3. They visited a relief camp in the Khumanlankpak sports hostel in Imphal and the IIT relief camp in Kangpokpi district in the hill area. There are 334 such relief camps in Manipur currently.
