As per the latest media report by The Tribune, the patient was admitted to the Civil Hospital, Phase-VI, Mohali on January 31, 2015, for delivery. The doctor advised her to undergo a caesarian operation, which was performed on the same date and thereafter, she was discharged from the hospital on February 10, 2015.

In a shocking incident, a postgraduate medical student who had just started her studies at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Raichur reportedly went missing on Sunday, February 9. The medico's family has lodged a police complaint in this regard and an investigation is currently ongoing.
According to a recent report by EdexLive, The student has been identified as Dr Bhagyalakshmi from Kalaburagi. She had joined the medical college just about 15 days before her reported disappearance. According to sources, she had informed others that she was visiting a friend's house before she went missing.

In a major turn of events, Popular Tamil film actor Kanja Karuppu who is known for playing comedic roles, sparked a commotion at the Porur Government Hospital in Chennai on Tuesday. He staged a protest after patients were left waiting for hours without receiving any medical attention.
As per the news reports, the incident unfolded when patients, who had arrived early in the morning around 7 am for treatment, found no doctors available to attend to them.
