Minister advocates for use of Ayurveda Medicines for cure of chronic diseases
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Environment and Forest Sidda Raghava Rao advocated about the need of using Ayurveda medicines for the cure of chronic diseases.
Inaugurating the Ayurveda Mela (health camp) in the Amma function hall here on Friday, the Minister said that ''Ayurveda is ancient health care tradition being practised in India for centuries. But due to lack of awareness among people, the Ayurveda was being neglected'', he said.
Mr Rao said that some of the chronic diseases could be cured more effectively by Ayurveda medicines than Allopathic medicines and called upon people to avail Ayurveda health care services.
All India Radio (AIR) Regional News Unit Director G Kondala Rao said that the Ayurveda medicines cure chronic diseases quickly and effectively without any side-effects.
He emphasized about the need of taking Ayurveda medical treatment to the people in the modern society.
