Naturopathy is need of hour : HP Governor
Dharamshala: Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Wednesday visited Vivekananda Medical Institute at Holta near Palampur.
Former Union Minister and Chairman of the Vivekananda Medical Institute Trust Shanta Kumar welcomed Mr Dattatraya, who was on his first visit to Kangra district after assuming charge as Governor of the state on September 11.
The Governor was apprised of the activities of Naturopathy such as Nirmay Center of Trust, Physiotherapy Section, Combination Therapy, Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) among others being undertaken by the trust.
He also visited the Sadhana complex and Old Age home being built under the name Vishranti.

Shanta Kumar gave the detailed information of the institute to the Governor.
Dattatraya appreciated the Management of the Trust for providing various facilities to the people and health projects being run by the Institute. He said naturopathy was the need of the hour and needs to be promoted. He said the facilities being given here to the people living below the poverty line was commendable.
