1058 MD, MS seats available at MP Medical Colleges for this year PG medical admissions

As per the notification, there are a total number of 430 PG medical seats in Government medical colleges of the State and 628 seats in the Private Medical Colleges.

Bhopal: In a recent notification, the Department of Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh has notified about the seat matrix for PG medical seats in Government and Private medical colleges of the State.

DME, in the notice dated 11.01.2022, has provided the Category wise seat distribution of PG Degree vacancies (MD/MS) in the medical colleges of the Madhya Pradesh.

As per the data in the notification, there are a total number of 430 PG medical seats in Government medical colleges of the State and 628 seats in the Private Medical Colleges.

MD/MS Seats in Government Medical Colleges:

There are a total number of 430 PG Degree vacancies (MD/MS) in the Government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Among these, 286 seats belong to open category and 15 seats belong to Open-PWD category, 123 seats are reserved in the open category for In-service candidates and 6 seats are reserved for In-Service candidates in Open-PWD category.

Among these 286 seats 55 seats are in Bhopal, 82 seats in Indore, 55 seats in Gwalior, 57 in Jabalpur, 25 in Rewa and 12 seats are in Sagar.

Bhopal:

In the open category, there are 55 seats in Bhopal. Specialty wise, among these, there are 7 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 1 in Dermatology Ven. Lep. , 1 in Forensic Medicine, 5 in General Medicine, 6 in General Surgery, 8 in OBS & GYN, 3 in Opthalmology, 5 in Orthopedics,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 5 in Paediatrics,4 in Pathology, 1 in Pharmacology, 1 in Physiology, 2 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Radio Therapy, 1 in Bio-Chemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 1 in Respiratory medicine.

Apart from these, there are 4 seats for Open-PWD category in Bhopal. This includes, 1 seat in Community Medicine, 1 in General Medicine, 1 in Paediatrics, and 1 in Microbiology.

There are 30% seats reserved for the Inservice (DHS), Demonstrator, Tutor, Medical officer (DME) candidates. Among these 123 seats, 25 seats are reserved in the open category for In-service candidates in Bhopal. Specialty-wise, there are in 3 seats in Anaesthesiology, 2 in Community Medicine, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 3 in General Medicine, 2 in General Surgery, 4 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Opthalmology, 1 in Orthopedics, 2 in Paediatrics,2 in Pathology, 1 in Physiology, 1 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Radio Therapy, 1 in Bio-Chemistry.

In the PWD category, there is 1 seat for 30% reserved seats for In-service candidates and the seat is in Paediatrics.

Indore:

In case of Indore, there are 82 seats in the Open category, 4 in Open-PWD category, 36 for In-service candidates in Open category and 1 for In-Service candidates in PWD category.

Specialty wise, in the Open category, there are 8 seats in Anaesthesiology, 4 in Anatomy, 3 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology Ven. Lep. , 1 in Forensic Medicine, 5 in General Medicine, 7 in General Surgery, 8 in OBS & GYN, 3 in Opthalmology, 4 in Orthopedics,3 in Otorhinolaryngology, 6 in Paediatrics,4 in Pathology, 3 in Pharmacology, 4 in Physiology, 6 in Radio Diagnosis, 2 in Radio Therapy, 3 in Bio-Chemistry, 3 in Microbiology, 1 in Psychiatry, 1 in Respiratory medicine, 2 in MD Immuno-Haematology & Blood Transfusion.

Among the 4 Open-PWD category seats, there are 1 seat in Paediatrics, 1 in Bio-Chemistry, 1 in Microbiology, and 1 in Psychiatry.

Regarding the 30% reservation for Inservice candidates, there are 36 seats in Indore. Among these, there are 4 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 1 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology Ven. Lep. , 1 in Forensic Medicine, 2 in General Medicine, 3 in General Surgery, 4 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Opthalmology, 1 in Orthopedics,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 3 in Paediatrics,2 in Pathology, 1 in Pharmacology, 2 in Physiology, 3 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Bio-Chemistry, 2 in Microbiology, 1 in Psychiatry, 1 in Respiratory medicine.

Besides, there is 1 seat in Bio-chemistry reserved for Inservice candidates in the PWD category.

Gwallior:

There are 55 seats in the Open category, 2 seats in Open-PWD category in Indore. Besides, there are 23 seats reserved in the Open category for Inservice candidates and 1 seat reserved for Inservice candidates in the PWD category.

Among these 55 seats, there are 6 seats in Anaesthesiology, 2 in Anatomy, 3 in Community Medicine,7 in General Medicine, 5 in General Surgery, 6 in OBS & GYN, 2 in Opthalmology, 3 in Orthopedics,2 in Otorhinolaryngology, 4 in Paediatrics,5 in Pathology, 1 in Pharmacology, 2 in Physiology, 5 in Radio Diagnosis, 2 in Microbiology.

Apart from these, 2 seats in the Open-PWD category including 1 seat in Community Medicine, and 1 seat in Paediatrics.

Regarding the 30% seats which are reserved for Inservice candidates in the Open category, there are 23 seats including 3 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 1 in Community Medicine, 3 in General Medicine, 2 in General Surgery, 2 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Opthalmology, 2 in Orthopedics,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 2 in Paediatrics,2 in Pathology, 2 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Microbiology.

Besides, there is 1 seat in Physiology reserved for Inservice candidates for PWD category.

Jabalpur:

In Jabalpur, there are 57 seats in open category including 3 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 2 in Community Medicine, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 7 in General Medicine, 6 in General Surgery, 8 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Opthalmology, 5 in Orthopedics,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 3 in Paediatrics,4 in Pathology, 2 in Pharmacology, 2 in Physiology, 4 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Radio Therapy, 2 in Bio-Chemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 2 in Psychiatry, 1 in Respiratory medicine.

Apart from these, there are 2 seats in Open-PWD category including 1 in Community Medicine and 1 in General Medicine.

Besides, there are 24 seats reserved for Inservice candidates in open Category. This includes 1 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 2 in Community Medicine, 2 in General Medicine, 3 in General Surgery, 3 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Opthalmology, 2 in Orthopedics,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 1 in Paediatrics,1 in Pathology, 1 in Pharmacology, 1 in Physiology, 1 in Radio Diagnosis, 1 in Radio Therapy, 1 in Microbiology, 1 in Respiratory medicine.

Further, there is 1 seat in General Medicine reserved for Inservice candidates in the PWD category.

Rewa:

Among the 25 Open category PG seats in Rewa, there are 2 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Community Medicine, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 2 in General Medicine, 5 in General Surgery, 2 in OBS & GYN, 4 in Opthalmology,1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 3 in Paediatrics,1 in Pathology, 1 in Physiology, 1 in Bio-Chemistry, 1 in Psychiatry.

Besides, there are 2 seats in PWD category including 1 in General Medicine and 1 in Paediatrics.

Apart from these, there are 30% i.e. 10 seats reserved for in-service candidates. This includes 1 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 2 in General Medicine, 2 in General Surgery, 1 in Opthalmology, 2 in Paediatrics , 1 in Bio-Chemistry.

Another seat in Psychiatry is reserved for In-service candidates in PWD category.

Sagar:

In case of Sagar, there are 12 PG medical seats in Open category including 1 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 in Anatomy, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 1 in OBS & GYN, 1 in Orthopedics, 2 in Paediatrics, 1 in Pharmacology, 1 in Physiology, 2 in Bio-Chemistry, 1 in Microbiology.

Besides, there is 1 seat in Community Medicine in open-PWD category.

Apart from these, there is 30% reservation for the Inservice candidates i.e. 5 seats. This includes 1 seat in OBS & Gyn, 1 seat in Orthopaedics, 1 in Otorhinolaryngology, 1 in Pharmacology, and 1 in Microbiology.

Further, there is 1 seat in Community Medicine reserved for Inservice candidates in PWD category.

MD/MS Seats in Private Medical Colleges:

In case of Private medical colleges, there are 94 seats in NRI quota, 355 seats in Open category, 19 seats in Open-PWD category, 152 seats reserved for Inservice candidates in Open category and 8 seats reserved for Inservice candidates in PWD category.

People's College of Medical Science (PCMS):

In PCMS, there are 12 seats in NRI quota including 2 seats in Dermatology, 2 in General Medicine, 1 in General Surgery, 1 in OBS & GYN, 2 in Orthopaedics, 1 in Paediatrics, 2 in Radiodiagnosis, and 1 in Respiratory Medicine,

Apart from these, there are 42 seats in Open Category including 6 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 seat in Anatomy, 2 in Community Medicine, 2 in Dermatology, 2 in Forensic Medicine, 3 in General Medicine, 6 in General Surgery, 2 in Obs & Gyn, 2 in Opthalmology 4 in Orthopaedics, 1 in ENT, 1 in Pathology, 2 in Pharmacology, 2 in Physiology, 1 in Radiodiagnosis, 1 in Biochemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 1 in Psychiatry, and 2 in Respiratory Medicine.

In the Open-PWD category, there are 1 seat in Paediatrics, 1 in Community Medicine, and 1 seat in Microbiology.

Apart from these, there are 30% seats reserved for Inservice candidates in Open category. Among these 19 seats, there are 2 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 seat in Anatomy, 1 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 1 in General Medicine, 3 in General Surgery, 1 in Obs & Gyn, 2 in Orthopaedics, 1 in ENT, 1 in Radiodiagnosis, 1 in Biochemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 1 in Psychiatry, and 1 in Respiratory Medicine.

Besides, there is 1 seat in Pathology reserved for Inservice candidates in PWD category.

Chirayu Medical College Bhopal (CMC):

In Chirayu, there are 9 PG medical seats in NRI quota including 1 seat in Dermatology, 3 seats in General Medicine, 1 in Obs & Gyn, 1 in Orthopaedics, 1 in Paediatrics, and 2 in Radiodiagnosis.

In the Open category, there are 5 seats in Anaesthesiology, 1 seat in Anatomy, 2 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology, 3 in General Medicine, 4 in General Surgery, 1 in Obs & Gyn, 1 in Opthalmology, 2 in Orthopaedics, 2 in ENT, 2 in Paediatrics, 1 in Pathology, 1 in Pharmacology, 1 in Physiology, 1 in Radiodiagnosis, 2 in Radiotherapy, 2 in Biochemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 2 in Psychiatry.

Besides, there are 1 seat in Community Medicine and 1 seat in General Medicine in the Open-PWD category and 1 seat in Physiology reserved for Inservice candidates in the PWD category.

Further, in the Open category, there are 15 seats reserved for Inservice candidates. Laxmi Narayan Medical College (LNMC), Bhopal:

In case of LNMC, there are 12 NRI quota seats including 1 seat in Dermatology, 2 in General Medicine, 1 in General Surgery, 2 in Obs & Gyn, 2 in Orthopaedics, 1 in Paediatrics, 2 in Radio Diagnosis, and 1 in Respiratory Medicine.

Apart from these, there are 43 PG medical seats in Open category in this institute. This includes 6 seats in Anaesthesiology, 2 seat in Anatomy, 1 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology, 2 in General Medicine, 6 in General Surgery, 3 in Obs & Gyn, 1 in Opthalmology, 1 in Orthopaedics, 1 in ENT, 3 in Paediatrics, 5 in Pathology, 2 in Pharmacology, 3 in Physiology, 1 in Radiodiagnosis, 1 in Biochemistry, 1 in Microbiology, 2 in Psychiatry, and 1 in Respiratory Medicine.

In the open category, there are 61 PG medical seats in total. In this institute, there are 18 PG medical seats in NRI quota including 2 seats in Dermatology, 4 in General Medicine, 1 in General Surgery, 3 in Obs & Gyn, 3 in Orthopaedics, 2 in Paediatrics, 2 in Radiodiagnosis, and 1 in Respiratory Medicine.
