AFMC Pune To Conduct Screening Test For MBBS Admissions 2023, details

AFMC Pune To Conduct Screening Test For MBBS Admissions 2023, details

Pune: Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC Pune) is going to conduct the screening test for MBBS admission tomorrow.

The shortlisted candidates are required to confirm their attendance for the screening process at AFMC, Pune by 28 Jul 2023, 06:00 PM by sending an email titled “Willingness to attend AFMC MBBS Admission Screening for NEET UG 2023”, mentioning their NEET-UG Roll number and NEET UG score to email Id: oicadmission@gmail.com. The parent/guardian will be permitted to accompany the candidate.

Based on the Merit List submitted by MCC, the list of candidates shortlisted for screening is to be conducted at AFMC, Pune along with reporting. The candidate's wise detailed schedule is enclosed in the notice below. The list is in the order of NEET UG Roll number and successful registration on the MCC website.

Candidates are required to enter AFMC from Gate No. 4 (Dean’s Gate) and report to OIC Admission at APRAMEYA hall as per the reporting date and time. No separate call letters for screening will be sent to the candidates. In case a candidate fails to appear on the stipulated date of screening, it will be assumed that he/she does not wish to appear for screening. No representation will be entertained later in this regard.

Screening Process -

Candidates are requested to go through the Information Brochure available on the official website of the college www.afmc.nic.in & www.afmcdg1d.gov.in thoroughly. The various stages of Admission screening will be as follows -

1. Identification and Verification of documents

2. Test of English Language & Logical Reasoning (ToELR)

3. Psychological Assessment Test (PAT)

4. Interview by the Board of Officers

5. Medical Examination & Medical Board

Reporting time for the Admission Screening Process for two slots at AFMC, Pune is 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM respectively as mentioned for each batch.

The candidates will undergo document verification, ToELR & PAT and interview on the same reporting day. They will undergo Medical Examination, on the next day from 07:00 AM onwards.

The above process will take at least 02-03 days to complete. Candidates are required to make arrangements for their stay in Pune and return journey accordingly.

Requests regarding change of dates of the interview -

Any request for a change of interview shall not be entertained except under exceptional circumstances. In such cases, the candidates may submit a request regarding the change of dates of interview by an email by 28 Jul 2023 at 06.00 PM titled ‘Request for Change of Screening Date’ mentioning their NEET-UG Roll Number and NEET UG score to email Id: oicadmission@gmail.com Request for change of date of interview over telephone/ post or any other mode will not be entertained. Genuine cases will be accommodated on available days by the OIC Admission Cell subject to the approval of Dean & Dy Comdt. A confirmation mail will be sent to the candidates by OIC Admission Cell mentioning the new date & time of reporting for the interview.

Please note that you may be refused participation in Admission Screening Process if the above-mentioned certificate/documents are not presented for checking while reporting for the same. In case the above documents have been submitted at some other college/Institute, a certificate stating that the following documents have been deposited at the institute from the Dean/Principal of the concerned hospital/institute is to be presented.

Candidates are advised to report on an empty stomach on the day of the Medical Examination and get their ear wax cleaned before reporting for the screening.

The fact that a candidate is being called for screening does not mean confirmation of your eligibility for admission. The eligibility will be checked at the time of screening as well as at subsequent stages of admission.

In case of the number of candidates (boys/girls) reporting for screening is found to be inadequate, additional registered candidates may be called for screening. Candidates registered for AFMC whose scores are below the cut-off score of AFMC screening are requested to keep a watch on the website for any updates.
