TEST DAY PROCEDURES

NBEMS shall be conducting the Computer Based Test (CBT) in a safe and secure environment, maintaining social distancing norms wherever needed. NBEMS reserves the right to review the test day processes for the conduct of CBT.

ENTRY OF CANDIDATES AS PER TIMELINES GIVEN IN THE ADMIT CARDS

Candidates are required to report at the ‘Reporting Counter’ of the test venue as per the time indicated in their admit cards. The exact entry point to the test centre (Reporting Counter) and the main gate of the venue might be at a distance. To avoid unforeseen delays in reaching the test centre entry point (Reporting Counter), candidates are advised to reach well in time and familiarise themselves with the exact entry point to the test centre on the premises of the venue well in advance.

The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the test start time. Any delay in arrival at the test centre entry point (Reporting Counter) shall lead to denial of entry, even if the candidate might have arrived at the premises of the venue.

Candidates reporting late or beyond the prescribed time shall not be allowed to appear in the exam under any circumstances. NBEMS shall not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate in reaching the centre due to any reason.

TEST CENTRE LOCATION

Exact address and location of the test centres shall be indicated in the admit card. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the test centre and reporting counter locations at least one day prior to the examination day and ensure that they report for the exam as per the scheduled time only. Google Maps location shall be indicated in the admit card for quick reference only. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to confirm the exact location of the test centre well in advance to avoid any arrival delay.

Candidates are advised to reach the Test Centre well before the prescribed reporting time and keep adequate time available for the entire examination day. Examination-related processes, including registration, authentication, verification, security procedures and management of unforeseen contingencies, may extend beyond the scheduled examination duration. Candidates should plan their travel and other commitments accordingly and avoid making inflexible onward travel arrangements on the day of the examination.

Please note that only the candidates who have been issued an admit card will be allowed entry into the examination centre premises, subject to fulfilment of documentary requirements.

Friends or relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed entry into the examination centre premises under any circumstances and will not be allowed to contact the candidate while the examination process is ongoing.

BARCODE/QR CODE READER AT ENTRY POINTS

The candidate will flash the admit card and ID proof for verification to the exam functionary standing across the table with a barcode/QR code reader. The candidate shall be informed about the assigned lab number. Alternatively, the list of Roll numbers and assigned labs shall be displayed outside the test venue.

Identity checks will be made upon arrival at the test centre to ensure that there are no unauthorised candidates appearing for the exam.

2 UDID/Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming scribe / extra-time as per provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016.

3 Any one of the below-mentioned Govt-issued photo IDs** (must be original and valid / non-expired)-

ii Driving License.

iii Voter ID.

In case any candidate reports to the test centre with an e-Aadhaar Card with the Aadhaar number printed on it as proof of identity, the e-Aadhaar Card should be a good quality colour printout with a clearly visible photograph. The photograph should not have kinks, scratches, or stains, and should definitely match the candidate presenting the e-Aadhaar Card. The decision of NBEMS in this regard shall be final”.

The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit Card. If the name has changed due to marriage, etc., the candidate must show the relevant document to substantiate the claim for change in name (Marriage Certificate/Divorcee Decree/ Legal Name Change Document/ Gazette notification for name change). In case of Mismatch in name between the admit card and the photo ID proof shown, entry shall not be allowed.
