AACCC issues notice for BUMS Candidates, Details
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has issued important eligibility related information for All Candidates who want to take admission in UG (BUMS) course.
The AACCC said that the M/o Ayush is receiving lot of queries from the candidates regarding eligibility criteria for admission in UG (BUMS) course.
In this regard, the NCISM, vide its Gazette Notification dated 28.02.2022, has notified the Minimum Standards of Undergraduate Unani Education, Regulation 2022, wherein at Regulation 4, it is mentioned that:
"candidate who is not passed Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as one of the subjects in the 10th Standard or in 12th Standard, shall have to study Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq wa Falsafa (Logic and Philosophy) as a subject during the First Professional B.U.M.S session."
Therefore, all candidates who want to take admission in UG (BUMS) course are advised to take note of this and do further proceedings accordingly, stated the AACCC notice.

Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) of Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi was constituted with the approval of Hon'ble Minister of State (I/c), Ministry of Ayush in the Year 2019.
The following roles & responsibilities have been entrusted to AACCC, M/o Ayush:
1. Maintenance of official website of AACCC, M/o Ayush
2. Finalisation of counselling procedure & schedule,
3. Co-ordination with the concerned agencies for counselling against State/UT quota seats,
4. Matters including court cases transferred to AACCC.
5. Fixation of Counselling fees (Registration fees) & Security deposits.
6. Any other task(s) related to counselling & allocation of seats against the AIQ, etc.
