DME Gujarat Issues Instructions For Admission Cancellation PG Homeopathy, Ayurveda Courses For Round 2 Candidates
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has issued instructions for admission cancellation for MD-MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy) courses round 2 candidates.
The candidates, who have confirmed their admission up to round 2 after paying fees at the designated branch of Axis bank & submitting the original documents at the help centre, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission at the help centre where the candidate has submitted original documents for admission confirmation from till 3rd March 2023, up to 4:00 pm.
Recently on 14th February 2023, the result for round 2 was declared. The choice-filling process was carried out till 13th February 2023. The candidates were asked to pay the fee from 14th February 2023 till 17th February 2023. The candidates were asked to report to the help centre from 14th February 2023 till 20th February 2023.
Online allotment of seats was done based on merit cum choice. So it was merit cum choice-based allotment. The candidates could fill in the choices based on the criteria: Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice based on fees.
All the candidates who are included in the merit list of ACPPGMEC were allowed to participate in round 2 of ACPPGMEC except the candidates who have secured admission in 15% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ (MD/ MS/ (Ayurveda) and MD (Homoeopathy)) seats of other state counselling.
The medical education department is pivotal in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions and premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state.
