DME Gujarat Opens Online Consent Window For 7th Offline Round For BAMS, BHMS Courses

DME Gujarat Opens Online Consent Window For 7th Offline Round For BAMS, BHMS Courses

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has opened the window for online consent for participating in the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) of counseling for BAMS and BHMS courses.

For the online consent, the candidates must log in to the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx using their User- ID and Password. During the online consent, they can select the help center to be present personally, till 04:00 pm, on 4.2.2023.

All the candidates, who want to participate in the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) of counseling for BAMS and BHMS courses, must give online consent for participation in the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) of counseling. The candidate, who has not given online consent during the stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate in this round.

After giving consent, students have to take the printout of the “Consent/Choice Form” available in “Registration Details,” which shows the date and time of consent given by him along with the place. This round will be conducted through video conferencing across 14 help centers. The detailed list of help centers is enclosed in the notice below.

All the candidates who are included in the merit list of ACPUGMEC can participate in this round, except the candidates who have secured and joined admission in MBBS & BDS courses in previous rounds of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC)/Previous rounds of State Quota OR except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in BAMS OR BHMS courses through AACCC, New Delhi.

DME has further notified that the candidate can participate in this round without canceling his admission to the previous rounds in Ayurveda OR Homeopathy.

Candidates must remain present at the merit rank on the allotted date and time at their selected help center. The candidate is instructed to bring a “Consent/Choice Form” during offline counseling. They should see the vacancy status available for the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) and the closure of the 6th offline round (4th stray vacancy offline round). The admission committee will allot the seats as on available vacancy, and a vacancy arises due to the cascading effect of that particular seat.

The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted admission on vacant seats if a vacancy arises due to the up gradation of seats during counseling. During this round of counseling, they will be offered seats per the previous closure, vacancy, and merit rank. If they are not willing to take admission to the offered seat, they can refuse the admission. Their last admission to BAMS OR BHMS will remain in such a case.

If the candidates want to cancel their admission to BAMS OR BHMS of the previous round, they can cancel it at the time of their 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) of counseling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

The candidates, who have canceled their admission of previous rounds and are coming for fresh admission, are required to bring the following original documents at the time of counseling –

1. Consent/Choice Form for 7th Offline Round (Special Stray Vacancy Offline Round)

2. Print Copy of NEET-UG-2022

3. Std. 10th Marksheet

4. Std. 12th Marksheet

5. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

6. Domicile Certificate for students born outside Gujarat (with signature and stamp of Authority) issued by Competent Authorities (Mamlatdar/Executive Magistrate/Commissioner of Police) of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

8. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only issued after Dt:01/04/2020

9. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only issued after Dt:01/04/2020

10. Copy of Passport (if Citizenship is Dual)

11. Physical Fitness Certificate

12. Any other document as per requirement

The candidate, who has been admitted to BAMS OR BHMS courses in the previous round of ACPUGMEC, must bring the original admission order from ACPUGMEC and receipt of paid tuition fees along with the Consent/Choice Form for this round. Those without original documents and prescribed fees will not be granted admission.

The candidate has to pay tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash or Demand Draft in favor of “ACPUGMEC,” payable at Gandhinagar at the bank facility provided by ACPUGMEC, immediately. If a candidate has paid tuition fees for admission to BAMS OR BHMS in previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

The candidates, who will remain absent on the day and time of counseling allotted to them, will have no right to admission. According to the Merit Closure Rule of UG Admission Rules, in this round, the candidates will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process during previous rounds.

Candidates should bring an envelope of 11 x 15-inch size. The details mentioned in the envelope are enclosed in the notice below.

NRI Candidate -

The candidate who has been allotted a seat in the NRI category must pay Rs. 5.00 lakh (as Refundable Deposit) by cash or Demand Draft in favor of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar at the bank facility provided by ACPUGMEC immediately. If the candidate has paid Refundable Deposit fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Then the candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fees in US dollars or an equivalent amount in any other foreign currency at the admitted institute. ACPUGMEC will refund the deposit amount of Rs. 5.00 lakh after completing the admission process.
