NEET PG 2023 Applications Edit Window now open, Details
Delhi: NEET PG application edit window to remain open until 3rd February 2023 starting today (30th January 2023). The exams are scheduled for 5th March 2023.
The candidates can edit the details and fill in the application form at https://www.natboard.edu.in/. The edit facility is available only for candidates who have successfully registered. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) opened the application window on 8th January 2023. The images can be rectified from 14th February 2023 till 17th February 2023.
No new application can be registered, or payment can be made during the edit window. However, if any, the balance fee required in case of a change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the edit window. Any information/document can be changed/corrected during the edit window except for Name, Test City, Nationality, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Information can be edited any number of times before the closure of the window. The last submitted information will be saved in the records.
Editable information/images/documents can be changed any number of times before finally clicking on the “Submit” button. Once the updated information is submitted by clicking the Submit button, no further changes shall be allowed during the edit window. Clause 2.8.1 and 8.20 of the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2023 should be read accordingly.
In case of changes made in payment-dependent fields (such as category and/or PwD status) which requires the candidates to make an additional payment of Rs. 1000, such changes will only be saved after successful payment of the balance fee. If the payment of the balance fee required is not made or the transaction gets failed, changes made in all the fields shall be updated except the payment-dependent fieldsTo updateng payment-dependent fields, please log in again and click on the “Go to Application” button, edit the required fields, preview the changes and click othe n submit button to complete the payment.
The image upload instructions are detailed in the NEET-PG 2023 information bulletin. The details related to image uploading are enclosed in the notice below. Some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as per the prescribed Image Upload Instructions. Such candidates must rectify the images in their application form during the edit window. The list of candidates who need to correct their images in the application is attached in the notice below.
All applicants for NEET-PG 2023 are advised to go through the Image Upload Instructions carefully. Please be apprised that uploading images in the application form which are not in accordance with the guidelines prescribed or failing to rectify the images in the edit window/final edit window shall invite rejection of the application.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, read with 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country. NEET PG is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission to medical courses in India.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (India), Government of India, established in 1975 in New Delhi as a Society under the Delhi Society registration act to standardize postgraduate medical education and examination in India.
