Maha CET Cell Postpones Counseling For CAP Mop-Up Round PG AYUSH Courses
Maharashtra: The CAP mop-up round for PG AYUSH courses (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani) for state quota has been postponed. Maha CET Cell has announced this through a written notice.
The counselling process was supposed to be carried out today (3.3.2023). But due to technical difficulties, the schedule got postponed. The revised schedule will be declared in due course. The candidates should keep track of the official website for further updates.
Recently three new colleges have been permitted for Postgraduate Ayurved and Homoeopathy College (state quota) with an intake capacity of 33 seats. The seats in the newly permitted colleges will be filled in the mop-up round. The candidates could do choice filling for the mop-up round till 2.3.2023, up to 11:59 pm.
The following are the colleges included –
1. R.A. Podar Ayurved Medical College Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai 400 018
2. Matoshri Asarabai Darade Ayurved College, Babhulgaon, Tal Yeola, Dist. Nashik 423401
3. Dr J.J.Magdum TrusHomeopathythy Medical College, Jaysingpur, Kolhapur
The courses included are –
1. Shalakya Tantra
2. Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga
3. Organon of Medicine
4. Materia Medica
5. Repertory
Interested eligible candidates were only allowed to add the new college/ course to their already submitted preferences; no other addition or deletion of preferences was allowed. A total of 3 seats are allotted in these above colleges.
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell carries out the counselling process for AYUSH admissions. The courses include Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani. The Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
