OJEE Announces Counseling Schedule For Spot Round For BAMS, BHMS Courses

Odisha: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has announced the counseling schedule for the spot round for BAMS and BHMS courses.

Detailed schedule –

09-02-2023 –

1. 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM - ALL SC Category Candidates

2. 09-02-2023 - 11:00 AM to 12.00 NOON - ALL GC Category Candidates

3. 09-02-2023 - 12.00 NOON to 1:00 PM - 1 to 1000000

10-02-2023 –

1. 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM - 1000001 & Above

The spot round of counseling for admission to vacant seats available in BAMS/BHMS courses for the academic session 2022-23 is scheduled to be held at OJEE CELL, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar.

NEET (UG) 2022 All India Rank holders satisfying the qualifying marks criterion (as per relevant notifications of AYUSH) are eligible to participate. However, candidates, who have been admitted to any Institute through All India Counseling by AACCC or through OJEE Counseling at the end of 2nd round (including upgradation), are not eligible to participate in the OJEE spot counseling.

Candidates should carefully review the “Guidelines and Instructions for Spot Counseling” available on the OJEE website and come prepared accordingly.

Process of allotment and provisional admission –

2. Admission will be made strictly as per merit.

3. Candidates willing to participate in this counseling round should report at the counseling hall at the scheduled time as per their category/rank. Only one person (guardian) can accompany the candidate to the counseling hall.

4. Candidates must put their signatures on an attendance sheet in the sitting hall.

5. Candidates coming after the scheduled time will be allotted a seat/college from the balance of seats available, considering merit.

6. Provisional allotment/ admission will be made at the venue of spot counseling. The candidates must bring all the original certificates for verification, failing which no admission will be made, and candidature will be rejected.

7. Candidates have to deposit the required fees at the counseling spot positively, failing which no allotment will be made, and the candidature will be rejected.

8. Candidates admitted in any category in this round will not be allowed any further change.

9. During spot counseling, if a candidate vacates any seat due to admission to another vacant seat, the same seat will be displayed then. It will be available for admission for the next candidate onwards.

10. Once all the vacant seats are filled up, counseling will be closed.

11. Participation in spot counseling does not ensure admission. Seats are allotted based only on merit and availability of vacancy.

12. The candidates, who get admission in the spot round, will have to report to the respective institutions immediately by submitting a copy of the Allotment-cum-Admission letter duly signed by the OJEE authority.

Demand Draft of Rs 5000 (for registered candidates of all categories) towards University registration fee, drawn in favor of “OJEE” on any Scheduled Bank payable at Bhubaneswar, is to be deposited during spot counseling. Allotted/Reported candidates who have already paid fees are not required to pay any fee.

Candidates, who did not register with OJEE earlier, but want to take part in spot counseling, must come with a supplemental draft of Rs. 1000 drawn in favor of “OJEE” on any Scheduled Bank payable at Bhubaneswar.

Candidates must produce the following certificates /documents, in original, for verification during spot counseling at the OJEE Cell. They also should submit one set of self-attested photocopies of all the documents –

13. NEET (UG) 2022 Rank Card

14. OJEE BHMS/BAMS Registration Slip

15. 10th Board Certificate and Mark Sheet

16. +2 Sc. Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet

17. College/School leaving certificate

18. Nativity/Resident certificate of Odisha (Form–III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha) Nativity / Resident certificate is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission to the course

19. SC/ST Certificate by birth issued by the competent authority, Government of Odisha

20. Green Card issued by Family Welfare Dept., Govt. of Odisha

21. Candidates under the EWS category have to produce EWS Certificate (Income & Asset Certificate) from Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar

Rajya Sainik Board sends the list of eligible Ex-Serviceman candidates to OJEE. Only those candidates will be considered under the ES quota.
