Bihar MDS Admissions 2021: BCECEB notifies on extended mop up round, details

Patna: Through a recent notice, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has informed about the extended mop up counselling round for the MDS admissions 2021.

Medical Dialogues had recently reported that the NEET MDS 2021 qualifying cut off has been lowered by 23.029 percentile for each category.

The qualifying percentile for the NEET MDS 2021 has been lowered from 50 to 26.971 for the general category bringing the score from 259 to 185 marks. For the SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentile has been reduced from 40 to 16.971, hence the score goes down from 227 to 152; whereas for PwD (Persons with disabilities) category, the revised cut-off percentile is 21.971 down from 45, the score hence lowered from 243 to 170 marks.

Pursuant to this, the fresh Online registration and submission of Application form are invited from such qualified, eligible and interested NEET-MDS 2021 candidates, who are not admitted in any Dental Colleges in India, on the vacant seats of Private Dental Colleges of Bihar after admission on the basis of PGDAC-2021 Mop-up Counselling.

The list of qualified candidates of NEET-MDS 2021 which has been provided by the National Board of Examination (NBE) / Health Department, Govt. of Bihar for admission to first year of the Post Graduate Private Dental Colleges of Bihar State is already uploaded on Board's website : bceceboard.bihar.gov.in .

Extended MOP UP Counselling will be conducted Off-line at BCECE Board office, IAS Bhawan, Patna-14.

This is to inform all qualified, eligible and interested NEET-MDS 2021 candidates who have not duly filled the online application for PGDAC2021 due to any reason and not admitted in any Govt./ Private institution of India and want to attend MOP UP counselling for PG Dental Courses can do fresh registration and submit online application form through visiting the link "Online Application Portal of PGDAC-2021" and by clicking "Apply Online" button from Board's website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in for appearing in the Mop Up round of Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGDAC)-2021 in order to select candidates for admission against vacant state quota seats in the FIRST YEAR of MDS Course in Private Dental Colleges viz. Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital, Kankarbagh, Patna and Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital, Darbhanga for the session 2021.

Note : There is no vacant seat in Govt. Dental College viz. Patna Dental College, Patna. Vacant seat position of PGDAC-2021 is available on the Board's website.

 Those eligible and qualified NEET(MDS)-2021 candidates who have already duly submitted Online application form and is not admitted in any Dental College in India need not submit fresh application. Such candidates have to give their willingness for attending Extended Mop up counselling as per programme given below by clicking the link "Online Application Portal of PGDAC-2021" and "Apply Online" button and login to account by entering registered email ID and Password by clicking "Sign In" button. After Successfull login, Click on "Willingness for Dental Extended Mop-up Counselling" button and fill the required informations as asked on the screen. Click on "Save" button. Candidates are also advised to download or take a print out of filled application for further use.

Candidate will have to produce his/her original certificate at the entrance gate of Counselling Hall and during the time of document verification / seat allotment process for Extended Mop-Up counselling, otherwise he / she will not be considered for counselling.

Important dates for PGDAC-2021 :

(i) Online Registration starting date ........................................................................ : 14.11.2021

(ii) Online Registration closing date ......................................................................... : 16.11.2021 (10.00 PM)

(iii) Last date of payment through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card with final submission of the online Application Form of Registered candidate ................. : 16.11.2021 (11.59 PM)

(iv) Willingness for attending MOP UP counselling from such candidates who have duly filled online application form for 1st round counselling and is not admitted in any institution of India ............................................................... : 14.11.2021 to 16.11.2021(11.59 PM)

v. Publication of Merit list / Rank Card .................................................................. : 17.11.2021 (8.00 PM)

(vi) Date of Extended Mop Up Counselling .............................................................. : 18.11.2021

Counselling fee : Counselling fee to be paid through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking is Rs. 2200/- (Two thousand two hundred) for all categories i.e. (Unreserved / SC / ST / EBC / BC / DQ) candidates.

 The candidates desirous of opting seats in any Private Dental Colleges have to deposit a bank draft of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) only in the favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board payable at Patna. If the candidate doesn't take admission on his allotted seat, the deposited amount will be forfeited and in case of taking admission, he/she has to deposit the rest amount of required fee to the concerned institution by 19.11.2021 (4.00 P.M.).

Candidates who opt and are alloted a seat in this Extended Mop-up Counselling, have to take admission in their alloted college latest by 4.00 P.M. on 19.11.2021.

Course wise / College wise Fee structure of Private Dental Colleges are already available on Board's website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in .

 BCECE Board / Controller of examination reserves the right to amend / rectify any of the conditions of prospectus of PGDAC-2021 before the Mop up counselling of PGDAC-2021.
