CEE Invites Applications for NEET MDS 2024 Stray Vacancy Round after Lowering of Qualifying Percentile, Details
Kerala- The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) is inviting online application submissions for newly qualified candidates, for admission to the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 stray vacancy filling round 2, following the lowering of the minimum qualifying percentile.
As per the notification in this regard, the online application submission facility based on revised minimum qualifying criteria for the MDS-2024 course in Dental Colleges in Kerala will be available till 06 October 2024 upto 11.59 pm. Candidates who are qualified in NEET-MDS 2024 as per the newly announced revised cut-off scores and satisfy the eligibility conditions can submit online applications to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala through the official website of CEE for the stray vacancy filling round.
The allotment will be conducted to fill up the currently available general category vacant seats and vacancies arising, if any. Reservation / Category seats are not available during this point of time as the unallotted seats were converted during the final phase of centralised allotment.
Below are the revised Minimum Qualifying Criteria
MINIMUM QUALIFYING CRITERIA

1 | General (UR/EWS) | From 28.308th Percentile, but below 50 th percentile |
2 | SC/ST/OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC) | From 18.308th Percentile, but below 40 th percentile |
3 | General PwD (UR PwD) | From 23.308th Percentile, but below 45 th percentile |
Furthermore, candidates submitting fresh applications with any community reservation claim and with a percentile higher than or equal to the 40th percentile and lower than the 50th percentile and candidates submitting fresh applications in the PwD Category with a percentile higher than or equal to the 45th percentile and lower than the 50 th percentile will not be considered for category claims, even if they submit the required certificates and documents in proof of their claim.
Candidates can avail the facility of application submission through the link ‘PG Dental 2024 – Re-Opening Online Application’ and should complete the online submission of the application and upload the required documents within the timeline. The application fee is Rs.1,000/- and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits is Rs.500/-. Documents in support of the basic eligibility along with those for the following benefits, if applicable, should be uploaded within the stipulated time limit-
a Fee Concession.
b Lower NEET-MDS-2024 cut-off for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
c Any other category claim.
