Maha CET Invites Applications for MDS Admissions 2025 Under State Quota, details

Maharashtra- The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (MAHACET) has issued a notice regarding the admissions to Postgraduate Dental (MDS) Courses for State Quota Seats in State Government/ Corporation/ State & Central Govt. Aided/ Unaided Private/Minority Dental Institutions situated in the State of Maharashtra for Academic Year 2025-26.
Through the notice, MAHACET has informed that the candidates who have appeared for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2025 examinations and are desirous of applying for available seats of Post Graduate Dental Courses in State Government / Corporation / State & Central Govt. Aided / Unaided Private and Minority Colleges situated in the State of Maharashtra should submit registration online on the official website of MHACET.
The information submitted will be used for the preparation of the NEET-MDS 2025 Maharashtra State Provisional Merit List. All the desirous candidates (including NRI candidates) submitting this information and completing payment successfully will only be considered for the subsequent process of admissions to available seats situated in the State of Maharashtra.

Along with this, MAHACET has also issued a notice regarding the NRI Candidate Eligibility and Registration Process. As per the notice, the following candidates will be eligible for admission to NRI quota as NRI candidates.
1 Candidate is himself / herself NRI.
2 Candidates whose parents are NRI.
3 Candidates who are ward of NRI, the ward will be as defined in the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.
Hence, candidates who fullfill the criteria and wish to apply as NRI candidates should register themselves after payment of fees (50 USD). Further after verification of documents and ascertaining of eligibility and payment of (1150 USD) processing of the application will take place. If the payment of (50 + 1150 USD) is not received the candidate will not be considerd for subsequent admission process. The appliction number shall be used for registration on CAP portal.
DOCUMENTS
NRI candidates will require following documents for claiming NRI quota-
1 Certificate issued by an Indian Mission/Post abroad regarding Non Resident Indian status of candidate /Parents / Guardian.
2 Passport, Nationality certificate of candidate and Parents / Guardian.
3 In Case of Guardian, certificate issued by the court having power to make order as to guardianship.
4 True copy of foreign bank account passbook (copies of main page indicating bank name and address, name and address, with entries of last preceding 6 months prior to admission) of Candidate / Parents / Guardian.
5 Foreign Candidate Registration Portal Receipt.
