MDS Admissions 2021: Maha CET Cell releases schedule for Mop up round 2 session

Mumbai: In order to fill the vacant seats after completing the first MOP UP round of counselling, the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State ( MAHACET CELL) has released the schedule for round 2 of counselling.

As per the notice, the schedule has been issued for Admission to Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) in Government/Government Aided/Corporation Dental College and Institutional Level Round for Private Unaided/Minority Dental College in the State of Maharashtra.

The schedule to fill vacant seats of Government/ Corporation/Aided Dental Colleges through MOP UP round-II and Private Unaided/ Minority Dental College through Institutional Level Round counseling will be as follows:

The Dean/ Principal of the Institution shall carry out the admission for these vacant seats on the basis of Inter-se merit from the list of NEET MDS - 2021 eligible candidates as per the directions issued by the Competent Authority during Academic Year 2021-22.

Submission of Application to respective Institutions / College in person with photocopies of requisite documents (Application format will be available on the State CET Cell website) (Including Holiday)

3.

Publication of Merit List/ First Selection List/ Wait List on the Notice Board of respective institute and website of respective institute. (Including Holiday)

07/11/2021 by 06.00 pm

4.

Joining Physically by selected candidate at respective institute with all original documents and requisite fees for admission.

08/11/2028 to 09/11/2021 Upto 05.00 pm

5.

Publication of list of admitted candidates and vacancy (if any) with publication of second selection list from wait listed candidates on the Notice Board of respective institute and website of respective institute.

09/11/2021 Upto 05.00 PM

6.

Last date for candidates from second selection list to report respective institute with all documents and requisite fees foradmission.

10/11/2021 Upto 03.00 PM

7.

Allotment and Joining of waitlisted candidate as per vacancy (if any) in the institute who are present/reported in the institute

10/11/2021 03.30 pm to 05.30 pm

8.

Publication of total list of admitted candidates on the NoticeBoard of respective institute and website of respective institute.

9.

Cut-off date for NEET MDS-2021 Admissions.

Online Submission of list of admitted candidates to State CET Cell/ MUHS/ DCI on their respective portal and e-mail.

10/11/2021 before 12.00 midnight

The instructions for the candidates are as follows:

1. The allotment letter will be considered as an E-Pass/Curfew pass to facilitate candidates along with one parent / Attendant during travel for the purpose of reporting to allotted college.

2. Selected candidate for MOP UP-II round should report physically to join allotted college with all original document and requisite fees to secure admission.

3. In case of upgradation / betterment of candidate who joined during previous round, the original document and fees paid during admission should be refunded by college authority immediately to account of the concerned candidate.

4. Any candidate who has joined up to 02/11/2021, if desires to cancel /resign their seat at Government/Corporation/Central Government institutions, after 05.00 pm on 02/11/2021 will have to pay a penalty of Rs.10 Lakhs for Noncompletion of Junior Residency/ Course.

If such a candidate resigns after 5.00 pm on 02/11/2021, even after paying Rs.20 Lakhs, he/she will not be eligible for admission through state Quota for the subsequent two Academic Years.

5. Any candidate who resigns their seat from Private Unaided/ Minority Colleges after 5.00 PM of 02/11/2021, will have to pay three years' fees as a penalty as per Rule No. 21.6 of NEET-MDS- 2021 Information Brochure.

The Procedure for Institutional Round for NEET-MDS-2021 courses is as follows:

1. Institutional Round is only for Private Unaided/Minority colleges and for seats remaining vacant after MOPUP I round.

2. All those candidates selected and joined during 1st round, 2nd round and MOPUP round(s) in Government/Corporation/Government Aided/Private Unaided/Minority Colleges and having admitted status on or before 02/11/2021 are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in Institutional Level Round.

3. For institutional round eligible and interested candidates should approach to the Dean/Principal of the respective colleges within prescribed time and submit application in person. Such type of applications should not be submitted in the State CET Cell in person or email. The applications submitted in State CET Cell will not be considered valid for any institutional level admission process.

4. At the time of admission during institutional round a candidate should submit all the original documents along with requisite fees during prescribed time limit, no extra time will be given.

5. Any candidates who are selected in MOP UP Round-II for Government/Corporation Dental College having joined status at Private Dental College, should be allowed to cancel his/her admission at Private Dental College without penalty. Resultant such vacant seat can be filled by respective institute during Institutional Level Round.

6. The list of eligible candidates for the institutional round will be published on the website on 03/11/2021 after 06.00 pm.

The schedule of this notice is subject to change as per directions of various Judicial / Central Government / State Government Authorities.
