NEET MDS 2021 Cutoff lowered, KNRUHS invites applications from eligible candidates

Telangana: Application forms online are invited by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) from NEET MDS 2021 qualified candidates who have become eligible after lowering of the cut-off score for admission into Management and Competent authority quota seats for the academic year 2021-22 into affiliated Dental Colleges in the state of Telangana.

A notification to this effect has been issued for online registration for web-based counselling from the candidates who have become eligible after lowering of cut-off score and for inclusion in the provisional final merit list for admission into Management and competent authority Quota seats only. Provisional final merit will be notified after scrutiny of all Certificates uploaded at the time of online Registration.

A total number of vacant seats available under these Quotas for the academic year 2021-22 will be notified on KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counseling.

Medical Dialogues had recently reported that the NEET MDS 2021 qualifying cut off has been lowered by 23.029 percentile for each category.

The qualifying percentile for the NEET MDS 2021 has been lowered from 50 to 26.971 for the general category bringing the score from 259 to 185 marks. For the SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentile has been reduced from 40 to 16.971, hence the score goes down from 227 to 152; whereas for PwD (Persons with disabilities) category, the revised cut-off percentile is 21.971 down from 45, the score hence lowered from 243 to 170 marks.

Candidates should have secured the following revised cutoff score or above in NEET - MDS 2021 can apply on-line on web-site https://pvttspgmed.tsche.in from 8.00 A.M.on 13-11-2021 to 5.00 P.M. on 15-11-2021.

Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET MDS 2021 Score and included in the provisional final merit list.

INSTRUCTIONS for candidates applying for Management quota seats

1. Candidate should have passed BDS Degree examination from an Institution recognized by the Dental Council ofIndia and should have completed internship by 31-07-2021.

2. The cut-off score for SC/ST/OBC / PWD Candidates is only for qualifying criteria and candidates are informed that there are no reservations under Management Quota.

3. For eligibility and other details refer to detailed notification & Prospectus for Management Quota admissions issued earlier on 23-10-2021 carefully.

4. The prospectus of the course, instructions of filling on-line application form is available on University web-site http://knruhs.telangana.gov.in/

5. Candidates have to specify in the on-line application whether the candidate is to be considered for NRI and Institutional Quota also. ( If they are eligible ).

6. Registration along with uploading of scanned Original certificates will be done only once irrespective of the number of times of exercising web options/ Number of counselings. No separate notification will be issued for verification of original certificates. Therefore the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory Certificates without fail.

7. Scrutiny of uploaded Original Certificates shall be done by the University and concerned departmental officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates provisional final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to KNRUHS website for further details regarding schedule of exercising web options.

8. The on-line application can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data connection.

9. Registration and verification fee for MDS Courses: - The Registration and verification fee of Rs.6300/- (Bank Transaction charges extra) shall be paid on-line through Debit Card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

** Registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

** Under any circumstances fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

10. Candidates who completed BDS from other States must pay separate fee for verification of equivalency of certificate along with the registration fee. The fee for BDS Degree from other state or other country is Rs. 5,000 & Rs. 7,000 respectively.

6. Candidates who completed BDS from other States must pay equivalency verification / certificate verification fee along with the registration fee. BDS Degree from other State or other Country of Rs. 5,000 & Rs. 7,000 respectively.

7. For eligibility and other details refer to detailed notification & Prospectus for Competent authority quota admissions issued earlier on 16-09-2021 carefully.

8. The prospectus of the course, instructions of filling on-line application form is available on University web-site http://knruhs.telangana.gov.in/

9. Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEETMDS –2021 Score and will be included in the merit list.

Note:

1. Candidates who have completed the on-line application process already with reference to earlier notification for MDS Courses need not apply again.

2. All further notifications will be displayed on KNRUHS website. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly for updates. No individual communication will be sent.
