TN NEET MDS 2025 Round 3 Counselling Registration Ends Today, choice filling begins tomorrow

Tamil Nadu- TN Health is going to end the National Eligibility and Entrance Test- Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) Round 3 counselling Registration/ Payment process for the academic year 2025 today.
Therefore, candidates willing to take admission into the MDS courses in TN Government Dental Colleges, Government & Management (Including Minority) quota seats in self-financing dental colleges, 2025-2026 session, must complete the process before the time ends.
As per the tentative round 3 counselling schedule, the Registration/ Payment process began on 11 August 2025, 12:30 PM, and will end today, i.e. 12 August 2025, 05:00 PM. Following this, the choice Filling & Locking process will start tomorrow, i.e. 13th August 2025. Below is the complete schedule-

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1 Meanwhile, the fresh Candidates who have not registered in Round 1/Round 2 will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 1000/- for the Government Quota and Rs 1000/- for the Management Quota.
2 The candidates who have already registered in Round 1/2 need not pay again. The candidates who have been allotted and joined in Round 1/Round 2 can opt for upgradation and need to register to fill the arising virtual vacancy.
3 Clear and virtual vacancies will be displayed on the website.
4 At the time of registration, the fresh candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit (If already paid, need not pay again) for the Government Quota:
For Government Medical Colleges- Rs. 30,000/-
For Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical College- Rs 1,00,000/-.
5 At the time of registration, the fresh candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit (If already paid, need not pay again) for Management Quota:
For Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges - Rs 2,00,000/-.
6 All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting the choice filling.
7 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.
UPGRADATION IN MOP-UP ROUND
1 Candidates who resigned from Round 1, Round 2 within the stipulated date and time will be allowed to participate in the Mop-up Round (Round 3) and subsequent rounds.
2 Candidates of Round 1 and Round 2 who have not resigned can go for Upgradation in Mop-Up Round (Round 3).
3 Candidates of Round 1 and Round 2 allotted and not joined can participate in Mop-up Round (Round 3).
CHOICE FILLING
1 Candidates will have the option of choosing filling for all the seats for which they have applied. For example, if a candidate has applied for both the Government and management quota, he will have choices for both the Government as well as Management quota. The candidates are encouraged to analyse all the choices available and fill in their choices in order of their preference.
2 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.
3 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date (14-08-2025 5 PM), their choices will be automatically locked.
VIRTUAL VACANCIES
1 Any Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round 1 & Round 2 and has opted for up-gradation in Mop-up (Round 3), that allotted seat of Round 1 & Round 2 will be shown as virtual vacancy in Mop-Up (Round 3), any Candidates can fill the said seat (virtual seat) during the choice filling in Mop-up Round (Round 3). However, such a seat will be allotted in Mop- up Round (Round 3), only if the allotted candidate of Round 1 & Round 2 vacates that seat. Thus, that virtual vacancy becomes a real vacancy; it is open to all in the order of merit.
2 Any candidate who has opted for upgradation in Mop-up (Round 3) allotted seat in Mop-up round (Round 3) will necessarily have to vacate the seat and cannot claim to retain the seat.
3 Vacancy positions for the Course will be available on the official websites.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER
1 The freshly allotted candidates have to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order through online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.
2 Fee structure is available on the official website.
3 All candidates should make sure sufficient funds are available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.
4 The re-allotted candidates who already paid the tuition fee in the Round I & Round 2 of online counselling, have to pay the difference (if any) amount only.
5 The re-allotted/allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned dental College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
REPORTING TO THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE
1 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with a scanned copy of their original certificates for verification.
2 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
3 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
