DHS Manipur postpones Nursing, Paramedical Courses Counselling, details
Manipur: Director of Health Services (DHS) has postponed the counselling schedule for Nursing and Paramedical Courses for the academic session, 2022-23.
The counselling schedule was scheduled to be held on 3rd August 2022 and 4th August 2022 at Medical Directorate, Lamphelpat Main Auditorium, JNIMS. DHS has not announced any tentative date for the counselling schedule. The candidates will have to keep track of http://manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in/ for new dates.
Candidates should be medically fit, and a physical fitness certificate should be enclosed. They should be a domicile of Manipur. Either of the parents should have been residing in Manipur continuously for 20 years or is in the service of the Government of Manipur, or an organization is a body substantially owned or controlled by the Government of Manipur. The candidates will be admitted once a year.

The Directorate of Health Services is fully committed to the total health care of its people. The department aims to provide the optimum health needs of the people in general, particularly those living in rural and tribal areas of the State. The department plans, implements, supervises and monitors preventive, pro-motive and curative services in the State. It is also the nodal agency for implementing The Central Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1969 and the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954.
The Director of Health Services is the Executive Head of the Health Department of Manipur and is responsible for planning, monitoring, budgeting, expenditure booking, organizing and implementing various health care activities and national health programs. As the Food Health Authority, DHS is also responsible for implementing the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act (PFA) and Rules in this State.
