DMER Chennai Releases fee structure for PG Medical, Dental courses in Tamil Nadu
Chennai: Recently, the DMER (Directorate of Medical Education and Research) Chennai released a notice regarding the fee structure of Medical and Dental courses approved by Fee Fixation Committee for the academic year 2023-24
The admission in Post Graduate medical courses will be taken under 3 quotas - Government , Management, and NRI Quota.
The details of the same are mentioned below:
A. Students pursuing a PG medical degree in the clinical branch will have to pay INR 350000 under government quota, INR 1550000 under the management quota and INR 2600000 under NRI Quota.
B. The cost of a medical degree in the non-clinical branch includes INR 300,000 for the government quota, INR 435000 for the management quota, and INR 1750000 for the NRI quota.
C. Medical students pursuing diploma medical courses can expect fees of INR 300,000 under the government quota, INR 435000 under the management quota, and INR 1750000 under the NRI quota.
For MDS course in both minority and non-minority colleges, the admission will be taken under Government and Management Quota only. Details of the same are mentioned below:
A. Students opting for MDS degree in clinical mode under minority colleges will have to pay INR 250000 under government quota and INR 850000 under management quota.
B. For students choosing to pursue an MDS degree in para-clinical mode through minority colleges, there are two payment options: the government quota is INR 225000, and the management quota is INR 325000.
C. Students who choose the clinical mode for their MDS degree within non-minority colleges will be charged INR 250,000 under the government quota and INR 950000 under the management quota.
D. Pursuing an MDS degree through the para-clinical mode in non-minority colleges entails a fee of INR 250,000 under the government quota and INR 350000 under the management quota.
