ESIC invites applications for MBBS Internship Training Programme, Check out details

New Delhi: The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital Basaidarapur, New Delhi has invited applications from fresher candidates for the MBBS internship training program.

Applications are invited from fresher candidates for the MBBS Internship training program as approved by the erstwhile Medical Council of India, MCI from all eligible candidates who have passed the final MBBS Examination (Indian or Foreign Graduates) against vacant internship seats as per details given below.

Date of Submission of Application: 28/10/2021 (Thursday) 10:00 AM onwards

Last date for submission of application: 08/11/2021 (Monday) up to 3:00 PM

Tentative No. of Vacant Seats: 42 (seats may increase or decrease)

Tentative Date of Interview: To be announced accordingly

Tentative Date of Commencement of Internship: Will be displayed on the official website

Guidelines for MBBS Internship Training Programme:-

1. Applicants who desire to do the above internship may apply/submit/send their application in all respects along with self-attested copies of all essential certificates in a sealed cover envelope superscribed "Application for MBBS Internship Training Programme-2021" by Registered Post/Speed Post or by hand to reach "The Medical Superintendent, Medical Branch, 6th Floor, Administrative Block, ESIC Model Hospital & PGIMSR, Basaidarapur, New Delhi-110015 by 03:00 PM of 28/10/2021".

2. The Institute will not be responsible for any delay on account of postal delivery or delivery through any other agency.

3. Application should be submitted in the prescribed form only as appended below. It should be filled up in Block/Capital letters in the candidate's own handwriting.

4. Essential documents required for Internship Training:

1. Date of Birth Certificate/Matriculation Certificate.

2. Self-attested copies of mark sheets of all MBBS Examinations (each part/year) passed.

3 No Objection Certificate issued from College/University.

4. Indian graduates are required to submit the NOC issued from their parent college/university in favor of this institute along with an undertaking that College/University is duly recognized by MCI before applying for Internship.

5. DMC provisional certificate is mandatory for all applicants. ReceipVacknowledge of DMC will be considered for interview purposes, however, joining will be given only after submission of the DMC provisional certificate.

6. Screening Test Passing Certificate issued from NBE is mandatory for Foreign graduates.

5. Only Fresher Candidate means those who have not done any part of internship training from any other institutes except PSM posting. The candidate is required to do PSM posting himself/herself, the same is not available at ESI Hospital, Basaidarapur, New Delhi.

6. Other terms and conditions are as follows: Candidates will have to

• Follow the internship program of ESIC Model Hospital & PGIMSR, BasaldaraPur, and complete the training within the stipulated period as prescribed by MCI.

• Maintain good conduct, discipline, and decorum of the institution and that the authorities of ESIC would have the right to discontinue the internship at any time for any misconduct, indiscipline, and unsatisfactory work (on part of the candidate).

7. All parts of the Internship training are mandatory for the candidates. No Intern will be permitted to do externship from other institutes.

8. In case a candidate desires to do an internship from other institutions, he/she will have to resign from his/her internship. No certificate shall be issued for any part of training in case of resignation/termination.

9. The interns are not eligible for any payment, stipend, or honorarium during their internship.

10. Leave Entitlement: No leave of any kind or absence is permitted to an intern except as may be permitted by the MCI. The total no. of leave will be permitted by the institute during the tenure is 10 Days.

11. Repeating Internship: An Intern must ordinarily complete his/her Internship during the scheduled period.

Stipulation for repeat posting:

i. Unsatisfactory performance.

ii. Prolonged illness. In case of prolonged illness, Medical Certificate must be validated by a Medical Board set up by the Institution, where the internship is being undertaken. Only after the due certificates repeat posting will be given.

iii. To prevent Interns from prolonging the internship period due to extraneous reasons other than the above (i) and (ii) and taking extra leave beyond permitted leave, the repeated posting will be done after completion of current posting or 1st day of next month depending upon the availability of seat(s) in the department of the Institution. However, it will be the sole discretion of the competent authority to allow repeat posting.

Note:

1. Mere submission of an application does not confer any right to the candidate for being called for an Interview. ESIC reserves the right to adopt other criteria/terms and conditions for scrutinizing the application in case of large numbers of applications are received.

2. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for the same.

3. The list of eligible candidates (whose applications are complete in all respect & deposited within stipulated date) for an interview will be displayed within 07 Days (from the last date of receipt of application) on the official website/notice board of Administrative Block. No separate call letters will be sent for Interviews.

4. All eligible candidates are advised to bring all the original documents for verification at the time of the Interview.

5. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website/Notice Board of the administrative block within 07 Days from the Interview date. No Separate offer letter will be issued.

6. No private practice is allowed during the Internship training in this institute.

7. The results of the interview will be available on the official website of ESIC i.e. www.esic.nic.in and notice board of ESIC Model Hospital, BasaiDarapur. No inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

8. The selected candidate should join the internship by the stipulated date. In case of delay in joining, permission must be sought in advance. Grant of extension of joining will be at the sole discretion of the competent authority.

9. In case a candidate is not selected, he/she will have to apply again with all documents for the next notification of the interview.

10. Incomplete applications will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in the matter.

11. Wrong declarations/submission of the false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.

12. Mode of Selection: The selection for the said internship will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board at ESIC Model Hospital, Basaidarapur, New Delhi-15.
