IIM Kashipur, Max Healthcare Launch 2nd Batch of PG Executive Programme in Hospital Management

Kashipur: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, in collaboration with Max Healthcare, recently launched the second batch of its Post Graduate Executive Programme in Hospital Management. The programme is set to commence on March 28, 2025.
This programme in Post Graduate Executive Programme in Hospital Management has seen an extraordinary 100% surge in Batch size compared to the previous year, reflecting a sharp rise in demand for specialized healthcare management education among professionals and students alike, the institute said in its statement.
India’s healthcare sector is poised to exceed $130 billion by 2030, yet challenges such as workforce shortages, infrastructure gaps, rising treatment costs, and evolving regulatory frameworks continue to hinder its growth. The PG-Executive Programme in Hospital Management aims to fill this critical void by equipping professionals with industry-specific knowledge, leadership skills, and strategic management expertise to navigate the complex healthcare ecosystem effectively.
In response to the industry’s evolving needs, IIM Kashipur has revamped its curriculum, adding crucial subjects such as Digital Transformation, Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship, Hospital Planning and Design, Business Communication, and an Industry-Specific Masterclass. These enhancements complement the core subjects, including Healthcare Economics, Strategic Management, Medico-Legal Studies, and Financial Management, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
Prof. Kunal Ganguly, Dean (Development) at IIM Kashipur, highlighted the programme’s exponential growth, stating, "We have witnessed a phenomenal rise in demand for these professional programmes. This reflects the programme’s immense value in preparing professionals to not only excel in hospital management but also to diagnose emerging challenges and pioneer innovative solutions in the healthcare sector."
The PG-Executive Programme in Hospital Management adopts a blended learning approach, offering live online sessions, on-campus immersion, hospital contact hours, and real-world case studies. A key feature is the Capstone Project, providing hands-on exposure to solving practical challenges in hospital management. The programme caters to healthcare professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and individuals transitioning from other sectors into healthcare leadership roles.
With expert faculty from IIM Kashipur and senior leadership from Max Healthcare, along with networking opportunities and a prestigious certification, this programme serves as a game-changer for professionals aiming to accelerate their careers in healthcare management.
