KNRUHS Begins Choice Filling Process For PG Medical Admission Under Competent Authority Quota

KNRUHS Begins Choice Filling Process For PG Medical Admission Under Competent Authority Quota

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the choice-filling process for PG Medical courses under the competent authority quota 2023-24. The candidates will be applying for 2322 vacant seats.

All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the Provisional final merit list on the KNRUHS website can exercise web options as per eligibility for admission into PG Medical Degree/ Diploma seats, including Service Quota and PWD Quota seats up to 8.00 PM on 15-08-2023. Candidates can exercise web options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma Courses in all Medical Colleges affiliated with KNRUHS and NIMS through https://tspgmed.tsche.in as per eligibility.

Candidates (nonservice and service) whose certificates were uploaded at the time of online registration and provisionally verified by the staff of concerned departments and whose names are notified as eligible candidates in the provisional final merit list of PG Medical Admissions on the KNRUHS website are eligible to exercise web - options online from the computer with internet connection.

There is no limit to choices (number) for exercising web options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per the candidate's eligibility. They must exercise web options for PG seats in courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining. If they are not interested in joining in any subject or college, then they should not exercise web options for the same.

Candidates are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counseling, they are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counseling to prevent seat blocking.

Candidates are informed that if they exercise web- options for a seat and are allotted a pg seat as per their choice in the web- counseling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, they will not be eligible for exercising web- options for subsequent rounds of counseling.

One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read instructions to the candidates before giving options. Candidates must take a printout of saved options.

Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.

The allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the existing Government orders and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court orders.

Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of seats if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website. The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of their respective college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.

The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college, and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

Original certificates will not be returned to the admitted candidate unless the candidate discontinues the course before the second phase of counseling. Admitted candidates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty amount of Rs. 50 lakhs as per Government Orders if they discontinue the course after the second phase of counseling to get their original certificates back.

The fee to be paid -

University fee - Allotted Candidates have to pay a University fee of Rs.29600. The University fee and other fees, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Tuition fee - Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable as notified by the Government of Telangana in GO Ms No:107, 108 HM& FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 28.07.2023 (notified on the website).
