Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the online application process for admission into PG Medical Degree and Diploma Courses under the competent authority quota for 2023-24.

Detailed schedule –

Availability of online Application and uploading of certificates https://tspgmed.tsche.in

Date of release of provisional final merit list after verification of certificates

Dates of exercising web options for admission into PG (MD/MS/ Diploma) courses counseling.

As per NMC/MCI guidelines

Steps for PG admission –

1. Mobile and Email Registration,

2. Candidate Registration (Payment of fee),

3. Updating of data

4. Uploading of Certificates

The documents to be uploaded –

1. Copy of Provisional or Original MBBS Degree Certificate. (Mandatory)

2. Copy of MBBS study certificate. (Mandatory)

3. Copy of the Compulsory Rotatory Internship certificate. (Mandatory)

4. Copies of Permanent Medical Registration from the respective State Medical Council. (Mandatory)

5. If the candidate has completed MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, he/she

6. has to submit study certificates from 6th to Intermediate / 10+2. (Mandatory if applicable)

7. 10 years Residence proof/ Study certificates for candidates claiming unreserved quota seats (Residents of TS/AP who studied MBBS outside TS/AP or another country). (Mandatory if applicable)

8. Social Status Certificate (Permanent Caste Certificate) as shown in Annexure - I in the application form, Issued through Mee-Seva. (Mandatory if applicable)

9. Service Certificate in case of In-service candidates as in Annexure-III B (Mandatory if applicable)

10. NEET PG - 2023 – SCORECARD. (Mandatory)

11. Photo identity proof (Aadhar) (Mandatory)

12. Minority Certificate ( Mandatory if Applicable )

13. Candidate’s Latest passport-size Photo (Mandatory)

14. Specimen Signature of the Candidate (Mandatory)

Duration of course - The duration of PG Diploma courses is 2 years, and PG Degree courses is 3 years, In the case of students having a recognized two-year Post Graduate Diploma course in the same subject, the duration of Degree course in the same subject shall be two years.

Number of seats under competent authority quota -

1. The number of seats to be available for the academic year 2023-24 in Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses after excluding seats contributed to All India Quota from Government Medical Colleges and Competent Authority Quota seats in Private Medical colleges will be in accordance with the orders of the NMC / GOI / Govt. of Telangana.

2. The seat matrix for Competent Authority Quota seats for the academic year i.e., 2023-24, will be displayed in the KNRUHS website before the notification for exercising web options for counseling.

3. In case any new PG Medical seats are permitted by the Government of India in colleges affiliated to the KNRUHS for the Academic Year 2023-24, those seats also will be filled up. No further notification will be issued.

Eligibility -

The candidates who fulfill the following criteria are eligible for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree and Diploma courses. Candidates have to apply online and upload the original certificates for Competent Authority Quota seats in colleges affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.

The candidates who qualified in the NEET-PG-2023 examination with the following cutoff scores and above as per Notice dated: 01.06.2022 of the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, as per section (10) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, are eligible to apply.

The Candidate should be a Citizen of India. Candidates who satisfy the Local or Non-local status as per G.O.P.No. 646 Education (W) Department, Dated 10-7-1979 (Presidential Order), only eligible to apply for PG Medical admissions.

Candidates who have studied MBBS in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and obtained degrees are eligible. Other State candidates are not eligible unless they satisfy the nonlocal status as mentioned in Prospectus and as per G.O.P. No. 646 Education ( W) Department Dated: 10-07-1979.

Candidates who are domiciled in Telangana / Andhra Pradesh and studied MBBS/equivalent courses and obtained degrees from other states in India / other countries are eligible.

MBBS/Equivalent Degree should be recognized by the NMC.

Must have studied MBBS in any one of the Medical Colleges in India.

MBBS Graduates should have completed an internship on or before 11-08-2023 from recognized colleges (by NMC).

In the case of In-service candidates, Government service rendered shall be calculated as of 30-06-2023.

Candidates must have registered with State Medical Council and subject to the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated in the Regulations, and its documentary proof should be uploaded along with the online application.

Candidates must pay the fee for verification of certificates with regard to equivalence/equivalency as specified in the regulations, along with the registration fee (for Degrees obtained in another state/country). The verification fee and registration fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for determining merit positions in respective categories for State quota seats using NEET PG – 2023 rank.

Eligibility conditions in respect of candidates who are domiciled in Telangana / Andhra Pradesh and possess foreign medical degree –

1. The candidate shall satisfy Local / non-local status as per GO.No.646 Edu (W1) department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The candidates who are eligible as Non-local status candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats. 15% Un-reserved Quota is applicable in Medical colleges established before 02-06-2014.

2. If the candidate has a Medical qualification equivalent to MBBS (Primary Medical qualification) from countries outside India, the Degree should have been recognized by the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission for enrolment as Medical Practitioner in the Country and registered by MCI/NMC.

3. Candidate must have Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India / any State Medical Council, and the certificate should be uploaded along with the application.

4. Candidates must pay an Equivalency fee for verification of Degree certificate obtained outside the State as specified in the regulations along with the Registration and Processing fee. The Verification fee and Registration and Processing fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for determining merit positions in respective categories for State quota seats as per NEET PG – 2023 scores.

5. Candidates who are studying Postgraduate Degree/Diploma and DNB courses are not eligible to apply for Postgraduate Degree/Diploma and DNB courses.

Reservation in favor of the local candidates –

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favor of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non-State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, Dt. 10-7-1979.

Counseling -

The provisional Final merit list will be displayed on the KNRUHS website after scrutiny of uploaded certificates and applications. Verification of uploaded certificates will be done only once for web-based counseling, irrespective of the number of phases of exercising web-based options and counseling. Hence, candidates who have applied online are advised to upload all original certificates at the time of online registration without fail for scrutiny by concerned departmental officials. No individual communications will be sent. The notification for the schedule for exercising web options will be issued separately on the KNRUHS website. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly for notifications.

The Admission Committee shall have the power to review the selection in case of any errors, misrepresentation, or glaring injustice and cancel the selection/admission. In all matters relating to selection and admissions, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding on the candidates, and selections cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.

The procedure of selection of candidates will be as per G.O.MS. NO.155, HM&FW (C1) DEPT., Govt. of Telangana, Dated:18-11-2021, G.O.Ms.No.73, HM&FW (C1) Department, Dated: 03-07-2023, relevant Government orders, subsequent amendments, and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court & Hon'ble High Court Orders.

The tuition fee for Competent Authority Quota seats for Degree and Diploma of clinical, para- clinical and pre-clinical courses will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.
