MCC notifies on Scrunity Of NEET Applications from NRI candidates, details
Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that scrutiny of NRI applications is still going for NEET UG candidates.
Candidates who have sent applications for conversion of their nationality from ‘Indian’ to ‘NRI’ are hereby informed that scrutiny of NRI applications is still going on due to the large number of applications received by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS. The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded by 11:00 A.M on 27.07.2023.
Accordingly, to provide adequate time for candidates to exercise choices, the time for Choice Filling is being extended till 11:55 P.M. of 27.07.2023. The Choice Locking will be effective from 03:00 P.M of 27.07.2023 up to 11:55 P.M of 27.07.2023.
The registration process for NEET UG counselling is still going on. The Round 1 registration process begins today and will end on August 1, 2023. The choice filling or locking facility will open on July 28 and will end on August 2, 2023. The processing of seat allotment will be done from August 3 to August 4, 2023. The result will be announced on August 5, 2023.
Candidates can upload the documents on the MCC portal on August 6, 2023. The reporting or joining will be done from August 7 to August 13, 2023. Verification of Joined candidates Data by institutes Sharing of data to MCC will be done from August 14 to August 16, 2023.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allows seats online on the basis of the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility, and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
