11 Seats Remain Vacant After Round 4 NEET PG Counselling in Gujarat

Ahmedabad- In the fourth round of counselling for admission to postgraduate (PG) medical courses in Ahmedabad, a total of 973 students participated. However, out of the remaining 88 seats, 11 seats are still vacant. Additionally, several seats were also found unfilled in the municipal medical colleges in local and all-India quotas.
For the round 4 counselling for admission to PG medical courses in Ahmedabad, participating students were asked to submit their preferences between February 20 and February 24. The fourth round of counselling commenced on the local level.
After the conclusion of the third round, 88 seats were still available, for which 973 students applied. However, in the allotment process, 11 general quota seats still remain vacant. The vacancies were mainly in non-clinical departments.
According to the TOI media news report, officials informed that after all four rounds, seats remain vacant in departments such as Biochemistry, Physiology and Anatomy in SMIMER in Surat as well as LG and NHL in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, the final allotment figures show that a total of 2,159 seats were distributed, of which a total of 1,788 seats were in the general quota, 309 in the management quota, 36 in the NRI quota and 26 in the in-service quota. With this, the successful candidates must ensure their admission by paying the fees by today i.e. 27 February 2025.
