AIIMS Adds 332 Seats For NORCET 2023, Details
Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the addition of seats for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET 2023). The seats have been added in AIIMS Guwahati, AIIMS Manglagiri, and LHMC & SSKH.
332 seats are added for NORCET 2023.

At LHMC & SSKH, out of 52 vacancies, 09 posts, as mentioned above (03 current + 2 carried forward backlog vacancies for 1st year +04 backlog vacancies for 2nd year), are reserved for PWBD candidates. In case of non-availability of suitable PWBD candidates, carried forward and backlog vacancies may be filled by candidates other than PWDs.
For AIIM Guwahati and Manglagiri, PWBD included total vacancies to be applied horizontally across different categories. As per the decision in the 4th meeting of CIB held on 27th July 2019, 80% of seats are reserved for Females and 20% for Males.
The number of posts mentioned is tentative and is liable to change. It is possible that institutes not currently declaring vacancies may do so subsequently.
The registration started on 12th April 2023 and ended on 5th May 2023, 5:00 PM. The online CBT mode examination will be conducted on 3rd June 2023. Candidates who have completed a BSc Nursing degree from an Indian Nursing Council or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council can only apply. The age limit should be between 18 years to 30 years of age.
The exam will be conducted for 3 hours with 200 MCQs of 200 marks and four alternatives for each question. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer. The qualifying marks in Recruitment Examination will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC & ST. For PWBD additional 5% relaxation will be given irrespective of the category.
