AIIMS Bhopal Invites Applications for Joint PhD Program with MANIT, check complete details

AIIMS Bhopal Invites Applications for Joint PhD Program with MANIT Bhopal for July 2025 Session.

Bhopal- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission into the Joint PhD program AIIMS Bhopal and Manit Bhopal for the July 2025 session. In this regard, AIIMS Bhopal has released a prospectus detailing the important details such as eligibility criteria, examination pattern, method of selection, Submission of application, Course Fees, etc.

As per the prospectus, candidates who are interested in pursuing the Joint PhD program (AIIMS Bhopal and MANIT Bhopal) can either apply to AIIMS Bhopal or MANIT Bhopal. The institute to which candidates apply will be considered as the ‘Primary Institute’ for the candidate, while another institute will be considered as the ‘Host Institute’. The candidate shall undertake a program of progress monitoring and examination that meets the requirements of both institutions.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

The applications will be invited on a prescribed Performa. The application form along with prescribed fees must be submitted by Speed Post/by Hand, latest by 28 May 2025 up to 5:00 PM, in the Office of Registrar, Academic Block, AIIMS Bhopal, Saket Nagar, Bhopal (MP).

APPLICATION FEES

1 For General /OBC/EWS candidates Rs. 1000/-.

2 For SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidate – Nil.

Fees to be paid by Demand Draft only in favour of “Director AIIMS Bhopal”, payable at Bhopal. However, the fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances. Inadequately filled / incomplete applications will be rejected.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION BY CANDIDATES WHO ARE EMPLOYED

The candidates applying for employment in the PhD programme are required to submit their applications through the proper channel. They should also sign the undertaking in the downloaded copy of the Registration Form that they have informed their employer about the submission of the application to AIIMS Bhopal. If any communication is received from their department/office withholding permission to the candidate's appearing at the entrance examination/admission to the course, the candidature/admission of the candidate will be cancelled.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1 Eligibility criteria for Medical Students- MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, DM, M Ch, BAMS, BYMS, BHMS and DNB in the subject concerned. Candidates who have obtained any of these degrees from medical colleges which are not recognised by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India/Nursing Council of India/National Medical Commission shall not be eligible to apply. Candidate should have at least 55% marks (GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC) and (50 % for SC/ST/PWD) in the last eligibility examination.

2 Eligibility criteria for Nursing Students- Candidates with an MSc Nursing qualification recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) can apply. Candidates should have at least 55% marks (GEN/GENEWS/OBC) and (50 % for SC/ST/PWD) in their Master’s degree.

3 After the Interview Final merit will be available on the website of AIIMS Bhopal.
