AIIMS Delhi Invites Online Applications For PhD Program July 2022, check out details
New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) invites online applications for entrance examination through the online (CBT) mode for admission in PhD Program July 2022 session.
The online application window has opened today i.e. 20th July 2022 and continue till 3rd August 2022, 5:00 pm. The entrance exam is scheduled for 27th August 2022. The duration of the exam is from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The entrance exam (MCQs) will be a computer-based/hard copy test.
Candidates will be eligible only for seats in the department they have applied for and will be allocated seats in order of their merit in the exam. Successful candidates will be screened for the eligibility criteria of their respective Projects before admission. And those who are allotted a seat but do not join or resign after joining will not be eligible for any additional rounds of seat allocation.
Selection for PhD registration is made through a two-stage performance evaluation as follows -
1. Stage-I – The written test carries 80 marks of 90 minutes duration. The question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Statistics/Biostatistics/General knowledge.
2. Stage II - Candidates who secure at least 50% marks in the written test (Stage-I) are called for departmental assessment (carrying 20 marks).
The course is subject to the availability of research funds/fellowship/grant from recognized funding agencies or availability of research projects in the Department of Biostatistics, AIIMS. There is no institute fellowship for PhD courses. After the declaration of results, selection letters will be issued by the Academic Section only to those candidates who have submitted Undertaking/Proof of their funding sources through the concerned Head of the Departments. The PhD program's selection will also be subject to medical fitness. The candidates selected for admission shall have to pay the fee/dues within the prescribed period, failing to cancel their admission.
