BCECEB invites applications for NEET stray vacancy round counselling, details

Bihar: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is inviting online applications for the Stray Vacancy Round Counselling of the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2025.

This round is for admissions to MBBS, BDS courses in government and private medical, dental colleges across Bihar.

According to the notice, the process is open to all the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 qualified and eligible candidates who either did not register earlier or failed to submit their online application with the requisite counselling fee and security deposit in previous rounds.

The Stray Vacancy Round is open to candidates who have not registered or submitted an application earlier. Those who completed registration but did not complete payment or submission earlier. Candidates who have already submitted the form but meet the specific conditions. Admissions will be made to vacant seats remaining after the completion of Round 3 counselling, which was held between November 10 and November 13, 2025.

Therefore, as per the notice, the updated seat matrix is available from November 15, 2025, on the official website of BCECEB. Hence, candidates can view and download the same from there. The Seat Matrix showing vacancies after the 3rd round has been uploaded on the official BCECEB website and will be updated further in case new vacancies arise before the start of the stray round. Meanwhile, the Online Registration, Application & Choice Filling process begins from today, i.e. November 17 to November 20, 2025, 10:00 PM.

Through the notice, BCECEB has clarified that the entire Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted online, ensuring transparency and convenience for candidates across Bihar. Applicants must visit the official website of BCECEB to complete registration, payment, and choice filling. To fill the Online Application & Choices, click on “Online portal of UGMAC-2025” and follow the instructions as given below-

STEP 2- Multi-Step Application Form.

STEP 3- Application Preview & Final Submit.

STEP 4- Payment of Counselling Fee & Security Deposit.

STEP 5- Choice Filling.

STEP 6- Download Confirmation Page & Fee Receipt.

STEP 7- Download Choice Slip.

DOCUMENTS

All the certificates included in the list given below, if applicable, must be submitted in original by every candidate at the time of his/ her counselling/allotment on the scheduled date-

1 Admit Card of NEET(UG)-2025.

2 Score Card of NEET(UG)-2025.

3 Passing Certificate / Mark sheet / Admit Card of Matric / equivalent exam.

4 Passing Certificate / Mark sheet / Admit Card of Intermediate/ 10+2 / equivalent exam.

5 Residential Certificate.

6 Caste Certificate.

7 All the certificates/documents in original as per the requirements of admissions in Private Medical / Dental Colleges.

8 Six copies of the passport-size photographs, which were pasted on the Admit Card of NEET(UG)-2025.

9 Downloaded print of the online-filled Application Form (Confirmation Page) of UGMAC-2025.

10 Aadhar Card.

11 The Check Slip has been downloaded along with Biometric Identification Report Form 1 (one) copy.

12 Any other documents required (if any), such as DQ (PH)/ SMQ / EWS Certificate, etc.

FEES

The candidate has to pay Rs. 1200/- for UNRESERVED / EWS / BC / EBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 600/-(Six Hundred) only for SC / ST / DQ candidates as a non-refundable registration / counselling fee through online mode only. But in the case of Private Colleges, all candidates have to pay Rs 1200/- only as a non-refundable Registration & Counselling Fee.
