BCECEB Resumes NEET 2025 Counselling, Round 1 Document Verification Ends Tomorrow

Bihar- Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has reinitiated the previously halted Bihar National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling process for the academic year 2025.
The document verification for Round 1 seat allotment was scheduled to begin on August 26, 2025. However, it was put on hold citing “unavoidable reasons”. Now, as per the latest notice, it stated that the process has begun with August 29 as the deadline.
Meanwhile, those allotted MBBS and BDS seats in Round 1 can download their allotment orders by tomorrow, i.e. August 29. The document verification process will also end on August 29. Below are the documents which need to be submitted-
DOCUMENTS
1 NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard.
2 Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates.
3 Birth certificate (if not mentioned in the Class 10 certificate).
4 Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates, if applicable).
5 Domicile certificate.
6 Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in NEET application).
7 Migration certificate (if applicable).
8 Medical fitness certificate.
There are currently a total of 2,995 MBBS seats in Bihar, of which 1,645 are in government medical colleges and 1,350 are in private institutions. Of these, around 450 are reserved for AIQ, while 2,545 seats are allotted through the state counselling process conducted by the Bihar Joint Admission Board.
On this, BCECEB has issued an official notice that stated that “Stayed Document verification and admission Process of Round-1 Counselling on the basis of UGMAC-2025 will be started from 27 August 2025. The related Advertisement has already been uploaded on the Board's Website. Such candidates who have claimed for admission on Self Finance Seat of B.V.C. Patna during Registration and submission of Online Application but could not fill Choices of Self Finance seat of B.V.C., Patna due to inadvertent error of Software will fill fresh choices during the period of Round-2 Counselling of UGMAC-2025 and then seat allotment will be processed accordingly on the Self Finance seat of B.V.C., Patna on the Merit-cum-choice basis. Details for choice filling with other details counselling programme for Round-2 will be provided soon on the Board’s Website and through the Newspaper after the completion of Round-1 Counselling Document Verification and Admission process".
