BOPEE Invites Offline Applications for DNB admissions 2024 Following NEET PG cutoff percentile Reduction
Jammu & Kashmir- J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (J&K BOPEE) is inviting offline applications for admission to DNB (Broad Specialty) Courses for the academic year 2024 after the lowering the merit of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Courses.
As per the official notification in this regard, following the reduction of NEET PG merit, J&K BOPEE has informed all the concerned NEET PG qualified in-service candidates/doctors that the Board is inviting offline applications for admission to Post MBBS DNB seats, Post Diploma DNB seats and Post MBBS Diploma seats (Broad Specialty) from today i.e. 15th to 17th January 2025.
Therefore, candidates who fall under the revised eligibility criteria and are willing to participate in the next round of counselling for the seats left vacant during the previous round of counselling or seats vacated due to resignations are advised to apply today as early as possible and submit all the required documents offline.
Meanwhile, eligible candidates, who have not registered earlier but wish to get themselves considered for the vacant seat/s, may also submit their documents to the BOPEE Office in Jammu/Srinagar for registration within the prescribed time.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 Mere registration of candidates does not confer any right to have a claim on any vacant seat(s) which as of now are to be filled up based on the merit/preference of the eligible/registered candidates.
2 Seat Matrix shall be uploaded a day before the start of counselling.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently revised the NEET PG 2024 cut-off scores. Wherein the minimum eligibility criteria for the general category is now the 15th percentile and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD is the 10th percentile.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of the State Legislature. Under the Act, the Board is entrusted with the task of conducting entrance examinations and recommending the selection of candidates for admission to various Professional courses in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh.
