CENTAC MBBS Admissions 2021: 39 seats available for mop-up round
Puducherry: Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the seat matrix for the Mop-Up round and admitted list of candidates for round 2 for MBBS admissions.
A total of 39 seats are allocated for the Mop-Up round for the MBBS course.
Following is the seat matrix -
1. Self-Financing Colleges -Government Quota – 1
2. Management Quota – 21
3. NRI Quota – 17

In this academic session for round 2 of the MBBS counselling, 497 candidates have been admitted.
The list of colleges with detailed admitted candidates -
1. Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences – 124
2. Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital, Puducherry – 113
3. Indra Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry – 149

Mop-Up round will be carried out in hybrid mode (offline and online). The candidates can choose any one mode. It is scheduled for 28th March 2022 for NRI, Government Quota and Management Quota MBBS seats. CENTAC has notified that candidates who have paid the fees will receive a link on the registered mobile number if they opt for online mode.
Candidates who have joined college till round 2 are also eligible for this round of counselling. This is done based on the consideration that candidates should be able to choose the college of their choice based on merit and without blocking any seats. Sliding is allowed.
Candidates who were allotted seats in round 2 but have not joined are also eligible for this round, but the registration fee paid during round 2 will be forfeited.
CENTAC has further announced that BDS candidates for the 1st year can do fresh applications for the academic year 2021-22 in Government / Self-financing Dental Colleges in the UT of Puducherry. Candidates can do the registrations till 25th March 2022. For details related to the registration process, check on www.centacpuducherry.in.
