CENTAC releases round 2 provisional allotment list for NEET counselling 2026-993 seats allotted across MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses

Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the Round 2 Provisional Allotment List for UG NEET--based courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
The Provisional allotment list, published on the official website of CENTAC, covers seats under the Government, Management, Management – Telugu Minority, and NRI. According to the notice issued by CENTAC in this regard, using dashboard login credentials, candidates can check the status of their allotment and download the allotment order after the publication of the Provisional Allotment List.
According to the seat-wise breakup released by CENTAC, a total of 1253 MBBS, BDS, BAMS and NRI course seats were available for the current allotment exercise, of which 933 have been allotted. Below is the detailed list-

MSP CANDIDATES- Candidates who are allotted fresh in this round under the MSP quota should report to the CENTAC office for verification of original documents on 15 September 2026 by the designated authorities of the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services. The allotment order will be enabled only after successful verification of the required documents. Candidates who had earlier reported for verification of original sports certificate in Round 1 can download the allotment order and directly report to the college.
NRI CANDIDATES- Candidates who are allotted fresh in this round under NRI quota should report to CENTAC office for verification of original documents between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. from tomorrow, i.e. 15 to 18 September 2026. The allotment order will be enabled only after successful verification of the required documents. Candidates who had earlier reported to CENTAC for verification of the original NRI certificate in Round 1 can download the allotment order and directly report to the college.
Through the notice, CENTAC has further instructed that candidates should report to the Principal of the allotted college along with all Original Certificates and the allotment order from 15 September 2026 after downloading the allotment order. The last date for joining is 18 September 2026, 5.00 pm. Admission is strictly subject to production of all requisite original certificates and completion of admission formalities.
Fee: Candidates are requested to transfer the requisite fee to the CENTAC account through NET BANKING or by generating NEFT / RTGS challan using the payment option available in the dashboard login credentials and proceed with payment. For bank transfer, pay the exact amount reflected in the challan to ensure that the amount is not returned. In case of NEFT / RTGS, the challan generated can be used only once. Read the help Instructions carefully before proceeding for payment. The fee collected by the CENTAC will be transferred to the colleges concerned.
Meanwhile, Puducherry SC/ST and EBC candidates allotted seats under the Government Quota need not pay any fee, as the same will be paid by the AD Welfare Department / Fisheries Department, respectively. However, Puducherry candidates allotted seats under 10% Government School reservation need not make any fee payment.
NOTE FOR ROUND 1 ADMITTED CANDIDATES
Candidates who joined in Round 1 and are now allotted a new course in Round 2-
1 Should pay the balance Tuition Fee if there is any difference in their Tuition Fee amount to be paid for this round.
2 Any excess amount paid in Round 1 will be refunded.
REFUND / FORFEITURE OF REGISTRATION FEE
1 If a candidate has not been allotted any seat in Round 2, then the Registration Fee will be refunded fully.
2 For UT of Puducherry SC/ST/EBC/GSS candidates, the Registration Fee will be refunded only if the candidate joins the allotted seat.
3 If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 2 and joins the course, then the Registration Fee will be adjusted in the Tuition Fee and the balance Tuition Fee should be paid.
4 If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 2 and declines / does not join the course, then the Registration Fee will be forfeited.
5 A candidate who joined in Round 1 and is transferred to a new course in Round 2 but does not join his/her allotted course, then the amount equal to the Registration Fee for their allotted course and quota will be forfeited and the remaining amount will be refunded.
6 A candidate who joined in Round 1 and is retained in the joined course in Round 2 withdraws his/her admission; then the amount equal to the Registration Fee for their admitted course and quota will be forfeited and the remaining amount will be refunded.
