DME Chhattisgarh fresh applications Following NEET PG Cut-Off Revision
Chhattisgarh- Director of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has started the new online application process for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Medical (MD/MS) Courses for the admission year 2024.
DME Chhattisgarh has started the new online application process for admission to PG medical courses 2024 as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently revised the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) cut-off percentile.
Therefore, as per the official notice issued in this regard, all the eligible candidates will be able to apply online afresh and the previously registered candidates will be able to make amendments to the online application form from today i.e. 10 January 2-25 to 13 January 2025.

The reduced percentile for the NEET PG 2024 is as follows:
ï‚· General Category/EWS- 15 percentile and above will be eligible to participate in counselling
ï‚· SC/ST/OBC/ PwD category- 10 percentile and above will be eligible to participate in counselling.
Previously, the qualifying the cutoff for the General category was 50th percentile. The cut-off was 45th percentile for General-PwBD category candidates, and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) category students.
The Chhattisgarh government has decided to set up 15 new medical colleges across the state after receiving approval from the central government for a special funding allocation of Rs 4,400 crore aimed at development and reform initiatives in Chhattisgarh.
At present, Chhattisgarh is home to 14 medical colleges, which include 11 government institutions, 1 AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), and 3 private colleges. The addition of 15 new medical colleges will bring the total number in the state to 29.
